THANKS - I really do appreciate the offers and it would be very nice to have my back covered, especially when it concerns certain people who think they are the "Goody Goods" and never do wrong . . . But then a couple of "You" would lose some people who you think are a supposed "friend" of yours and/or others "enemies" depending on your perspective . . . ;)

this just happened to me at work sorry uncle

Speaking of wiping and reinstalling ... I've gotta call Dell here soon. Looks like my HDD is failing. But I have onsite coverage for it for at least another year. Just need to make the call. Will be good motivation for me to install my Windows 7 Ultimate I have, instead of the home premium whatever that came with my XPS 15z.

Now for food porn. I do so love owning a wok. :)

And the finished product. Simple, healthy. Took me maybe 15m to cook. Maybe another 10m before hand to prep the veggies and chicken breasts.

Hi everyone :). I'm sorry I haven't been around the past few days. Someone got a hole of my debit card number and got access to my bank account and took all our money. We are currently working with the bank to get the funds back and the fraud department recommended that we wipe our computers that were used to do online ordering just in case there is a key logger or anything else on it. The problem is that we have 4 of them so it's taking forever to do this. I'm also about ready to wipe our iPads as well and was told that that will take hours to do. I just wanted to get on her to say hi to everyone and tell you all that I miss talking to you all before I can't untill everything is done. Hopefully I should have everything taken care of tonight or tomorrow so I should be back soon. I miss you all and hugs to everyone :)

uhm, the first thing you need is Avast!. the free version, don't be a sucker and pay for it. and since you have multiple pc's and iFads, i assume you have a router. turn the mac address filtering on, and disable all devices that you do not own. and turn on the NAT if it isn't already.

Make sure you do the boot sectors. There are things that can hide in there and a regular format won't touch it.

open command prompt from bootable disk (windows cd in repair mode will work)

diskpart

sel dis 0
cle
cre par pri
for fs=ntfs quick
act
assign (i just typed that all the way out due to forum's kiddy filter)
exit

---------------------------------

that is the proper way to clean a disk.
