Afternoon count! Hello Wolf pack!

So Count, think I read you had experiences with the Chobra? You like them? I've got one en route while I wait for the Aga-t+ to come into stock.

Yep, I have four of them. Lately, as I break them down, I've been replacing the 2 bottom nuts with a bic pen spring & the metal grommet from the old style stardust (non-nipple type). That way you just slide the top leg of your coil wire between the nut & the grommet & you're good to go. Holds it plenty tight. :D I use them on my MVP, ProVari & SigMax.

I still have 4 of the Chids that I use on my Twists (I use 32ga Kanthal & wrap them to 2Ω (±0.1). They work a treat!

I also have an original style all SS AGA, 2 AGA-Ts [polycarb tanks], 2 AGA-T2s [pyrex tanks] (and 2 more on the way via co-op).

I recently bought a 'real' Cobra off the classies & it really doesn't vape any better than a well set-up AGA... but it IS easier to get set up & there's more variety of wick options (single/dual/triple/U-wick) without modification. :)

Sounds like you've some experience lol.. I know who to come to when I need help ;)

This Chobra will be my first RBA, was supposed to be the AGA-T+ but just haven't found any in stock. 32 gauge wire and 400 mesh will be what I try first.

I'd be more than glad to help you out. Just gimme a shout when you're ready. Set up a phone call or skype session or something. Especially since stickam went tango uniform. :(

Not a pain at all. Once they're set up, they're easy peasy. Fill & vape. :D

Advantages: Flavor is #1 (as fine as any dripping atty made), cost (wick & wire to rebuild costs pennies), wick choice - SS mesh/silica/cotton/hemp/whatever, and finally - never having to buy a carto or clearo again - ever.

Downside: Learning how to set one up.
