I either cook for myself, or I go broke eating out/buying microwavable stuff.

I spent $13 at the grocery store this evening. Of that, $3 was for a new bottle of teriyaki seasoning, the rest went into tonight's meal. I easily have enough leftovers for 2 or 3 days of lunches at work.

Next time I make stir fry tho, it will probably be a little more expensive. Going to make a beef one. Tho I may go with a lessor cut of beef, and marinate it well. Regardless, it's a yummy meal that I can usually have done in under 20 minutes ... including all the prep time.

When I finally have a house, I intend to install an outdoor cook surface. Similar to what they use in the Benihana style restaurants. I won't need anything that large mind you, but it will be nice to have. Ideally I want a nice brick grill enclosure, so if I do go that route, I'll just make it all integrated. For a grill I want both gas and charcoal/wood. Some days I just wanna grill quick and get it over with, so gas. Other days if I have time and really want it "done right" I can use the coal side.

Beef stir fry is great for using cheap cuts of meat sliced thin. I'll use sirloin or round steak, slice it thin, marinade it and then cook it up. Works great. Though my favorite is flank steak, marinated and then grilled, then sliced thin and added to the stir fry.

Hmmm, so you'll cook your beef separate from the rest of the ingredients?

I do need to start tossing my yellow squash in a little later. It always gets soggier than the broccoli and zucchini I put in. Also had some daikon on hand this time.
