"Wolf"/"Krazee" . . .
I hope this is Okay to post - if not please let me know and I will of course delete it . . .
Info Request form all you "Computer"/"Network"/"IT" People . . .
I have a Friend that needs to boost the WiFi signal from inside their home to one of the outside building that is approximately 1000+ feet away . . . They are using a WiFi router supplied by their local phone company (BTW - it is not a major known company) . . . Oh yea - they can connect to the router when they are outside the building, but once they are inside the signal is broken . . . So what would be the best inexpensive WiFi Router Booster that would help them . . . AND - Hopefully one that is easy enough for even a complete "n00b" to install and set-up (think of a five year old learning for the first time how to do this. . . I do not want to take over the thread so please PM me - Thanks for any information you can send me . . .

I saw that article and was thinking of trying it myself. You could always pick up an old router off craigslist and turn it into a wifi repeater. That could be placed somewhere in the other building, in a window or something where it could reach your main router.
