I suck @ housework. I'm not much of a duster/sweeper/mopper.

I do pretty much ALL of the cooking, and ALL of the kitchen cleaning. I have to have a clean workspace. (Too many years in food service, while working my way through college.) :)

I can do laundry, and quite well - given that I have almost 40 yrs experience. But my wife prefers that I don't, given the nature of her & the girls' clothing requirements. I will still do loads of sheets, towels, and my stuff, because I don't (in her opinion) screw it up. :D

That was meant just in general...I do the housework here.:)

Amid plumes of yummy vapor :)
I like men that aren't scared of housework. (I don't like housework at all) Luckily for me my husband does the housework! :)

I also do half the cooking. The wife and I both cook well. I'm typing this as she's looking at a website for a Lebanese restaurant in Baton Rouge "Al Basha" :facepalm:So it means we'll be going there and try to figure out how they made the dishes then do our best recreation at home, LOL;)

There's the secret... if you screw up the housework enough they stop asking you to do it for them. ;)

Nice! My hubby and I both cook well and we both enjoy cooking, however since I am working ungodly hours, he cooks almost every night. Also on Saturday mornings he cooks breakfast for me. I love the way he makes omelets! He makes eggs so much better than I do. I know eggs are generally regarded as easy to cook and hard to screw up, and while my eggs are okay, his are heavenly! :)

A friend of my sisters had the Universal Theory of Food and Music. It said that The Dead Kennedys are good. But if you put on a Kennedys record and expect to hear the London Philharmonic Orchestra, you'll be disappointed. Same goes for pizza. If you put a frozen pizza in the oven and expect a Godfather's deep dish, you'll be disappointed... but if you expect something kinda thing and greasy with ketchupy sauce and not quite enough cheese, you'll be able to enjoy it for what it is.

I used to live on Long Island, and there was an amazing Mom & Pop pizza joint on every corner, in every strip mall! They were all really good. Of course I had my favorites, but none of them were bad.

Now I am back in S. FL. and I am back to eating chain pizzas - they are more expensive and not as good. But it is still pizza. The mom &pop pizza places down here think that their pizzas are worth their weight in gold. A large cheese pizza for $26-30 is absolutely ridiculous! I can't bring myself to do that!

I miss the pizza in NY!
