I have had fun today!
I worked really hard all day (working on my aquarium and cleaning my house) until about 4:30 when people started showing up for a bbq I was hosting. OMG! One guy brought the most amazing ribs! SOOOOO goood! I have had more alcohol today than I think I have all year put together, so the fact that I am able to type a semi-coherent message is pretty awesome! I have had 2 or 3 mimosas, and 4 maybe 5 beers! I am buzzed and happy! I haven't been drinking much because I have been on a diet and I don't believe in drinking my calories. I wish Ktk8 was around! She would appreciate what I have been drinking...
MMMMM...so good...now I am out and it is either time to switch to corona...or even worse....PBR....ewww....
Or, I could just givve up and go for water, which is probably the right thing to do... but I might go for the corona with lime...I think I have had enough to drink that it might taste okay...

I hope all is settling down for you. You shouldn't let yourself get into a funk...We love you! You should spend more time on here. I have been being nostalgic all night for the time when we all hang out in here...You, me, Redd, KK, optics, count, snake, etc.

Thanks Mare I think I've been starting to seclude myself well the reality is I really have no friends anymore(they were old friends I can't run with anymore or they have moved away) and since me and the old man broke up I really have no friends and I don't know where to go to make any locally.................................................but yea I need to get back on here more since this was and is my social life! Love you guys!
I can understand about the no friends bit. I live in a Podunk town, where my wife is from. About the only adults I interact with are co-workers and her family. I don't really fit in here, but here I am. I've only gotten "close" to 1 person in the last 13 years. As a teacher, you can't really be yourself around other teachers... too many snitches.
Lol that's true most places you work! I had a few friends at my old job but I left 2 yrs ago and you know people never keep in touch and my new job I pretty much work by myself with the Dr. so yea not sure what to do............

Yeps, Windy. I was tryin to think of some advice or help for you and the only thing that came to me is pen pals. rofl. That really ages me badly. And then I thought....... that is what we are. Instant penpals of a sort. When there are no people in your area, you need to branch out...... that is us. We are here and instant. can't get much better than that. Before the internet, wow..... it could really get lonely then. So, just grab your drink or tea or whatever and jump in. It is a fun place to connect.
