So, I've been vaping for just over 2 years now and have gone through tons and tons of flavors. My all-time favorite though was Red licorice, but shortly after I started vaping it the flavor started tasting off and I haven't been able to vape it since, even after taking breaks of several months and trying other various brands of red licorice juice. The odd thing is I can still taste red licorice candy, but I can't really taste the flavor when vaping. Any ideas on what I can do to recover my ability to taste my favorite flavor?

That is a tough one. I find that if I am not drinking enough water or not eating right that can trigger either Vaper's Tongue or just everything just not tasting right or good. Here is one thread I saved about this issue. If you do a search a bunch more will pop up. Drink lots of water. Then drink more water. And time.

Is it only this one flavor you can not taste properly?

I seem to have the same problem; my favorite juice is like yours, a sweet, but rather light fruit flavor; Lychee. I'm just crazy about it (when mixed right and my taste buds are sharp)...
but all throughout the day my tongue/sense of taste changes and it will be quite weak about 2/3's of the time.

funny, it can be because of what i've just eaten or drank something (other than water)... i've found that stevia sweetened foods or drink can push my vape taste buds the wrong way, and also just vaping too much of the time (chain vaper here). I still get good flavor some of the time though lol, and for me nothing else will do.
