I have a question, that I have never noticed before. Ever since I got my VS back, its been working great. When I received it, the battery was at 47% and I charged it right up to 100% and vaped it, this was on Thursday. Yesterday the battery was on 40% so I decided to plug it in, to my 2amp charger, before I went out that night. It charged at 1.95amps until it got to 80% then the charge fluctuated between .07-.10 amps. Obviously the battery never got about 80%, and it stayed like that for another hour, so I took it off the charger. So today my battery was around 38% so I plugged it in 1.5 hours ago. I just came back 5 min ago and it was charging at .07amp again and the battery level was at 83%. While I started typing this message, no more than 3 min since the last time I checked it, the battery showed 100% and 0.00amp charging, so its done.... Now, why am I getting such weird/off readings?

Mine is doing something like that. At 85-90%, the Amps drop to zero and then rise to 1.97, then drop and rise again. I think the device is just very close to charged at that point.

What are you vaping at? Mine seems to be holding up pretty well for me, gets me through most of the day at least with a dual coil RTA around 45-50W.

Vaping between 30-40w @ 300F .1Ohm. with the TVF4 and 34w on the Atlantis @500F.

Charged it last night, did some sleep vaping and now it's less then half.

I'm getting what I'd expect out of 2x18650's or so. Not much more, maybe less.

Vaped no more then 10ml's.

You should see a good bit less than two 18650s, two 25Rs for example is around 18.5W/h IIRC, where this mod has a little over 10W/h.

That doesn't seem unreasonable to me to vape 10mls of juice and have half battery, or just under half.

I already said it in this thread, but they could easily make a battery extender. A larger battery cover which could add 25-30mm of space for a bigger battery. Maybe someone could do this on Shapeways. I'd buy in a second.

I really like this device, but I think my fears about battery life are coming true. Right now, I'm at work. I'd love to vape, but it's charging.

It drops the charge amps close to full to balance the cells. All lipo chargers do this.

That's some valuable info; thanks. I noticed that my VS would take a couple of hours to go from, say 40% to 90% but take about as long to go from 90% to 100%. It's very slow from 95% on up. It never bothered me enough to connect it to escribe but I think you've satisfied my curiosity.

This shouldn't be the case. It should only take 90 min to go from 20-100.

So the postal company tracked down my VS200 YAY!
it was delivered this morning!

But ... the wattage + up button does nothing, it doesent light up the screen or increase wattage at all, I guess I'll have to send it back, anyone have this problem or know of a fix?
I already soft and hard rebooted the device with escribe.
I guess it'll be better to send it back to them and let them handle it.
my attys sort of wobble a bit on the top too.

the date of mine is 19/9/15

I did make a custom profile with a preset 70w so I could at least test it out, it's great and hits so hard, I've only ever used mech mods since I started vaping so this is a whole new level for me. :)

Check the board temperature in escribe... Had a board failure in my custom built where temp would go as high as 130f and then it would drop from 1 amp to 0.09 amps and go up and then keep falling down. It would charge fine if the board temp was less than 130f.

After your message I decided to actually pay attention to what I was doing. The ac/usb adapter I was using turned out to be only .5A. I scrounged around and found a phone adapter that was rated for 1.0. It helped quite a bit as I was gaining 6% every ten minutes. But this time it stopped at 98% and it took an hour to get to 100%. Checking the readout, it showed no power going to the battery.

I suppose it's a combination of a new device/battery and the escribe calibration being just a touch off. Even though it bothers my OCD side, I'm just going to call it good when it stops at 98%. I have a 2A charger on the way.

Exact same thing mine is doing.
