I have had a few emails to and from Gearbest about the vapecige vtbox 200 and they offered me a few solutions of my concearns, one of which was a refund which I have asked them to proceed with. How ever time difference between UK and China means we are emailing at funny times of night for each other so im just waiting on confermation of my refund for that before I move on. During my time I have decided I actually really like the looks of this mod, I already own a rdna 40, iv got a flask squonker on order so you could say I enjoy their products!

A couple of things before I commit

1 is this nano coat worth it? it works out to be £20 extra and they say it cant be detected by touch. Is it worth it? Has it saved any ones device? I obviously want to protect such an investment as best I can but it sounds a little gimmickey. What do you guys make of it?

2 lack of shark skin?! I would also want to prevent against knocks, bumps and scratches etc to protect the paint and not damage my £20 worth of 'nano protection'!

3 i can deal with waiting a bit and if its here by October il call it a birthday present to myself

4 i like the idea of zip charging, even if this battery is smaller than the vape cige if it charges twice as fast that means more time to be using it! I have a power bank that has 5v 1a & 5v 2.1a ports. The 2.1 should be ok to use and zip charge work and the charge port regulate down the input to required level?

The nano coat was more of a big deal on the rDNA which had a case seam running through the air channels which leaking juice could get into. I think the seam on the DNA200 is well away from the 510.

Sharkskins should be coming in a few weeks per VS.

VS assure us zip charging works on the DNA200, but no-one has one in hand to verify yet. Hopefully later this week.

I love my V1 and V2 rDNA40's, but I think 200 watts is just ridiculous and unnecessary. Granted, 40 watts is a bit under powered. Something like a 100 watt would have been more appropriate and negated the need for LiPo's.

I also will not buy another VS mod until they have a finish option other than that rubberized one, that doesn't hold up, and buttons that don't wear to a dull silver finish.

Vapor Shark, I am a fan, but you need to offer a brushed stainless finish (ideally with color choices) with SS buttons.

IDK. I kind of like the fact it is only in blank. It is something that distinguishes them from many of the mod makers out there.

Just received a reply from Vaporshark.

Highlights

Seems there are only 2 customers support people at Vaporshark
They claim 5000 preorders and processing should be done in 3-4 weeks
Orders are fist come first serve
My order is estimated to ship in two weeks. (mind you place my order early the 17th)

I'll keep everyone posted if I hear anything else... please do the same.

5000 orders X $200 = no money in the budget to hire help.

Please enjoy tonights entertainment while waiting for your order to arrive.

I like the blankness, overall design and build quality, what I don't like is how easily the coating chips and nice black chromed buttons that don't stay that way if you actually use it.

Even if it is improved and will hold up, I am not a fan of the need for LiPo's, that alone will keep me from getting this one. Would much rather see a 100 watt dual 18650 DNA.
