I contacted evolve about my dna chip dying in my vs. And I told them that vs said that people are experiencing this because ejuice is getting in the 510 and ruining the board, and charging their customers $80 to fix it. I also mentioned that I have been told, and have read, that the DNA 200 Chip comes coated to prevent this issue.

I'll let you know of their response and if they tell me that it is coated and it won't happen, I'm going to call vaporhsark and let them have it.

Like I mentioned earlier, I have had nothing but great customer service so far, so I'm not gonna trash talk them, but if they try to charge me $80 on a brand new, 2 week old, device , I'm gonna be ....... I'm 99% positive that I've never had any juice get in my mod, or on my mod.

Could be they're talking about their charging board? I'm assuming they have a 2A daughter board to do the Zip charging, perhaps that board isn't conformal coated and that's what they're talking about. Or perhaps they're blowing smoke up your ..... :)

When I see @KTMRider post news of shipping I'll start to get excited. I think I'm only a couple hundred after him.
Get excited :p

Got shipping this afternoon. Ordered Sept 4th ([HASHTAG]#108357[/HASHTAG]), no coating. They mentioned before that they get thru shipping about 500 orders per day so if not today, definitely tomorrow.

I did mention VS got better with managing expectations. Even with their unexpected delay, I'll still have it in hand by 9/30. I've actually been using my DNA40 and rDNA40 the past couple of days because they're more comfortable to use than the Hana V200 or BRD200 so I'm looking forward to the DNA200.

@wrice4 - I wouldn't put much stock in what a 1st line tech support replies to you. They don't seem to know much and if your device fails after 2 weeks, VS will definitely take care of you. Worst case, call them and ask for Victor. I don't know if this needs to be said but be polite but firm (if needed) and they will take care of you. Be a donkey and you'll get treated like one.

Who knows. He just told me that past experience ejuice has ruined the DNA chip. We shall wait and see.

Sure thing. I have been very respectful. We shall wait and see what my outcome is. Even though it was 1 day shipping, it is taking 2 days to get there. Should be there tomorrow and they told me it will take 3-5 days to look at it and fix what's wrong, so I'll keep everyone updated on the situation. Probably get an answer back next week.
