If I purchase the Vaporshark DNA200, do I need to purchase any additional components such as mouthpiece or atomizer?
VAPOR SHARK - FINE ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES
If your going to spend that kind of money, take a step back and read the forums and do some learning first...If you have to ask those kind of Questions then jumping in head first wouldn't be advisable.

The DNA 200 is great for temp control but you may just want to start vaping with kanthal coils.

Personally I would buy something cheaper to start with...

A great setup would be an IPV D3, a few green Samsung 18650 batteries, a 2 bay Nitecore i2 charger, a Tobeco Super Tank with some Aspire Triton Clapton 0.5ohm coils........and that would still be cheaper than the DNA. Prime your coil, Set the mod to 20w and build up, max out around 42.5 watt... Fantastic vape, trust me :)

Then there is the juice to consider, your vg / pg ratio, your nic level ect..

That's just my advise of course, you seem to want to run before you can walk..

If you purchase the SMOK kit along with the DNA 200 Vaporshark then no you're good to go. Just need some ejuice for vaping.

If you are fairly new to this I would not recommend the SMOK TFV4 for a couple reasons

TFV4 takes alot of power to get the flavor and vapor you want, now the VaporShark DNA200 can definitely handle it but it might require more tinkering with the wattage (if you're in power mode) or temperature (if you're in temp mode).

Also the TFV4 is notorious for juice consumption due to its massive coil size and because it has such large coils it takes a while to wick it right so you don't accidentally burn them.

But if this is the setup you want and you've had no experience before with sub ohm vaping, please consult the forum before you try to fire it up.

If I purchase the TFV4 Kit below will I need any other components?:
Taste Furious V4 Tank - TFV4 - SMOK® Being with you for all great vaping time!

You'll get 2 coil heads and one RBA head with that. If you're using coil heads you'll have to buy more because they are disposable unless you rebuild them. If you're planing on using the RBA head, you'll need the appropriate wire and a wicking material to work with along with the tools and the knowledge to do the job. Same goes for rebuilding the coil heads :)

With all this hardware you're buying a lot of really neat technology. That technology is not plug and play though. Do you understand how this stuff works?

You might want to look at getting a smaller kit to start out with, something to cut your teeth on....something like this: Joyetech eVic-VTC Mini VW Full Kit W/O Battery

The DNA200 mods are really nice, but require a lot of set up that requires some beyond basics knowledge to get the most out of it. The evic vtc mini can help you aquire that knowledge....or, if you are set on more power, look at the cuboid, which operates the same as the evic, but has higher wattage: Original Joyetech Cuboid TC 200W Express Mod Kit with the cuboid you will need to buy a tank to go with it, I haven't seen any full kits with tank included yet, but there are many suitable tanks around

Most modern e-cigs consist of three main parts: the atomizer (often inside a tank), the power unit (or mod) and the battery. Often times the battery is built in to save you the hassle of learning about safe handling and operation.

If you really want to investigate and buy all those parts separately, then be my guest. However, you will be much easier off with a full starter kit. To get to know which one suits you best, just ask around here on the forums. Don't forget to post your budget, current cigarette consumption and size requirements (easy to pocket).
Good luck.

Hi! Yes, if you buy the Vapor Shark, you will definitely need some kind of topper to put on it. You say nothing about your vaping experience, but the question you have asked is a pretty clear indication you don't have a lot of it. Therefore, I will add my agreement the VS is probably not what I would recommend for somebody starting out. Yes, it's a fabulous piece of gear-- and it's priced accordingly-- but it's really designed for experienced people who knew exactly what they wanted before they spent the money. I would strongly recommend something like a Kanger Topbox kit instead. It's a 75 watt machine, which is more power than about 90% of all vapers actually use, and it comes with a tank having a wide variety of coils and which can be set up in a variety of ways to help you figure out what, exactly, you want your vape to do for you. Once you get that far down the road-- you know you want a high power cloud blower, or a low power tootle puffer or something in between-- then you spend the money on top quality gear optimized for that purpose.

If you have nothing, what you need to get started is a starter kit.
Depending on what kit you buy you may need to get batteries separately, and maybe a charger for the batteries.
After that you need to get eliquid.

After that you will after a few days or weeks, need to replace atomizer coil.

Look for a kanger subox kit.

Basically whenever you're shopping for an "e-cig" that does not come in a kit you will need

1. Mod box (ie: the vaporshark dna 200 you spoke about)
2. An atomizer, for simplicity's stake just get a tank (an atomizer with a "tank" that holds fluid so you don't have to refill often) and most tanks come with standard coils.

Thats basically it, battery and ejuice is a given, and a charger if your mod doesn't come with one.

The Joyetech eVic-VTC Mini VW Full Kit W/O Battery says full kit but "W/O Battery". Do I need to purchase a battery?

Is the Joyetech eVic VTC Mini with Cubis Atomizer a better tank in general and for beginners? I am looking for more clouds. The lower the ohm then the more clouds correct? The one above this comes with atomizers with lower ohms. Should I purchase the Cubis and also purchase the 5pcs Joyetech Cubis BF Replacement Coil 0.2ohm replacement coil or is the other version better?

yes, you will need to purchase batteries separate, and possible a battery charger, depending on which mod you get.

If clouds is your goal, then I would go for the Joyetech Cuboid mod, and a Smok TFV4 tank....and I would suggest going into a local Vape shop and having the people there show you how to set things up. Or finding a vaper who lives near you to do so.

hmm, nothing wrong with starting out with a dna 200, at least you your not going to spend money on something that you want to change in two weeks... any tanks these days are pretty much good, make sure you get something with a rebuildable coil so your not buying overpriced coils every week, some cotton, a charger and a couple batteries...Mind you, it'll run you 300.00 vs 100.00 for a cheapo starter kit, but you'll end up with something that you can use for awhile..

What is the best battery and charger to purchase for the Joyetech Cuboid mod?

Will I have to change cotton or coils with the Joyetech Cuboid mod?

stick with reputable batteries from known suppliers, do a forum search for Baditude, he has lots of great info posted on batteries and battery safety. My personal favorites are the Sony Vtc4 but there are a lot of clones on the market. I also like the Lg He2's .
As far as rewicking or coil changing, that will depend on what tank you get, but all tanks will require that type of maintenance....this is one reason most have suggested tanks that use premade coils (like the tfv4), much easier to maintain, when the coil is done, just unscrew it, and screw in a new one, prime (allow the liquid to saturate the wick) and you are ready to go. Some of the tanks mentioned above are RTA's that require you to make your own coil and wick.
