Does yours have what looks like black electric tape over the top (negative side) magnet on the body? Not sure why that's there.

Yep, it does have what looks like black tape. Not sure why it is like that but if its not for a reason then they may have just failed to take it off the magnet... doesn't seem to have a negative effect on holding the door on.... I'm not really OCD so just gonna leave it... at 109 bucks some say it is too expensive for a dna 75 but I'm pleased...

Yeah, it's custom fit to that spot, so I'll leave it and will ask VS since I'm going to contact them about an ETA on the door plates. Right now I have the BOX, just missing the SWITCH pieces!

For those that are put off by the higher price, VS has always been a bit like Apple, higher priced, but solid products. It's hard to factor in customer service, but when and if you ever need it, that's when you miss it. All five of my DNA75's were less expensive, but I like this one the most, and agree with you, totally worth it to me.

Yep, customer service really means something..... I read horror stories all the time about mods that folks can't get customer service from the vendor nor from the manufacturer.... that's sad..

VS also did a fine job setting the thermal, electrical, and resistance setting on the Switchbox....and they set up some profiles too.... nice touch I think....
