HEY,
This is whats going on, I got PG from the chemist :) $35 AU for 500ml :). I have VG and I have 100mg Nic juice
Now my question is whats the best way of adding flavor to this lot? What do I buy, because after I've "watered" down the Nic juice with Vg, Pg and a PG based flavor is it not going to be very weak in flavor? How do I choose how strong the flavor is without compromising the Nic value? (im going for about 12 - 18mg strength. with like a 80/20 pg/vg mix

Wow I wasn't jumping anywhere. Problem with written text is that it can be taken in any fashion u feel it's written. But my question was written correctly for the answer I hoped to receive which was not a yr 9 education question mathematics but what the content of PG was in flavorings. And yes I have searched the forum for this question but it is not in there. Hence why I have made a post
So thanks moorted for you life lesson I suggest you follow it.

Here's how I DIY:

Most flavor and nic concentrates are PG based, so I treat them as PG in my calculation. The nice part about 100mg/ml nic concentrate is that it makes the math so easy.

In a 10ml bottle I put the nic in first. If I'm aiming for 16mg/ml, I add 1.6ml nic concentrate. Easy.

If I'm aiming for 70/30 pg/vg I add 3 ml of vg to the mix. Easy.

Add flavor concentrates.

Fill the bottle with PG.

Shake.

For larger batches, i simply multiply up.

The nic concentrate MUST be accurately measured. I use a 1ml syringe with .1ml graduation. Everything else has a lot of slop room.

HR15. Its safe to assume unless otherwise specified all flavors would have a PG base. The carrier that the flavor is suspended in more often than not is PG. Unless you do your own extractions with alcohol and suspend them in a VG base.... Most flavor concentrates are PG+flavor concentrates. Heres the calculator I prefer to use e-Liquid Calculator when i make my own liquids. You may add as many flavors as you like and may specify their base type by selecting it below the flavor. The flavors generally have as little PG as needed to suspend the flavor in them but they are considered by which carrier they are suspended in so if you have a vg+flavor then it would count as VG..... I make my own menthol suspension with alcohol and vg as a flavoring. The base is vg so it counts toward my vg total in my liquids. It is what the carrier is....
