Hi, I recently started sub ohming and my veco tank coil at 0.4 ohms sometimes reads 9.99 ohms then doesn't fire, sometimes reads 1.8 ohms, 0.8 ohms in the tarot nano mod. I tried removing and replacing the coil, closing tank more tight, closing tank more loose. Bad coil , bad tank or just not using properly?

This probably isn't relevant, but... I have the baby version of the Veco (the 'Drizzle') and sometimes nothing happens until I screw the base on very (very) tightly. I assume the Veco coils are also press-fit? If so, it could be a similar issue.
It may be worth drying out / clearing inside the base of the tank in case any liquid's gathered.

Atomizer resistance reading 9.99 ohms generally indicates a short circuit, so your regulated mod's protection circuitry would refuse to fire that coil.
If the same coil sometimes reads something different, the coil could be loose inside the tank, or its just a bad coil with a "sometimes" short in it.

Hmmm. I have that tank and mod, and I’ve never had that issue. Has it been dropped or otherwise damaged? How long have you had it? You may want to see if it can be replaced, if it’s still under warranty.
Do you have another tank?...or mod?
The easiest way to troubleshoot these things is trying another tank on the same mod, or trying the Veco tank on another mod (if you have one) - which will quickly tell you where the problem lies.
If not, I would take the setup to a local shop to have them try and determine the problem.
