My wife and I have been vaping for about 4 months now and I LOVE IT. I have always loved smoking, my wife enjoyed smoking but hated it at the same time. I have been trying to quit for years, hiding it, hiding smokes in the garage, etc. So now i have finally found vaping.

Anyway, the question that I have is about my wife. She has been using the T3 bottom coil clearomizer with an ego-c battery. After buying new wicks recently, she started getting leakage around the battery and gurgling. I have showed her how to clean it up, but after a few pulls, more gurgling. I thought it was a bad wick, tried another, 5 min later, same problem. I think the resistance that I bought this time around was lower and she is pulling more juice then can be burned when she takes a drag. I told her not to drag so hard, she apparently can't do that(can't walk and chew gum either :) ).

So, the question (finally), if I get her a VV battery, and she turns up the voltage, will this help with the overdraw leakage?

Hope all this made sense as I am new to all of the terms with the E-cigs. Thank for the help

The eGo-C (unless it's the upgrade model) fires at 3.3 volts. She may be dragging too hard because the ohms are too high which would result in a weak vape. Also make sure the bottom is screwed tight. Generally around 2.0 ohms would maybe be better. It's a bottom coil clearo and gives a cooler vape. A top coil clearo gives a warmer vape.
Here's an ohms/ volts chart:

In the vid below starting at 5:45 mins he speaks of voltage versus ohms in regards to the T-3

There has been an issue raised with Quality Control on this clearomizer. I do recommend the VV, just to be able to fine tune the vape experience to personal taste.
But, for the gurgling I suggest you remove the center post and check what wick configuration you have. When they first hit the market they had 3-4 'flavor wicks' on top of the coil wick(usually at least 2). There have been reports of units with 0 flavor wicks, which results in leakage.
On YouTube search for T3 pbusardo, t3 wick, or something along those lines, there are many vids showing how to remove the post, add or remove wicking, even building the coil yourself. Pbusardo is a great resource for vapers, you can find his reviews at 'tasteyourjuice.com'
Good luck!

Stick a 1.7 ohm SmokTech single coil carto on that battery and enjoy a great vape. (that's the easiest solution)

The T3 can be a great vape, but sometimes it can be a PITA to get them set up right. If the T3 is the head that you choose to use you simply have to be willing to accept that, and put in the time & effort to learn how to set them up properly. At least there are plenty of vids to help you learn how. You Tube really can be your best friend.

Agree. Whenever I vape my eGo class PVs I use the ST 1.7 ohms single coil. Also known as the Resurrector and I use mine in a carto tank...

The T3 / MT3 gurgles when liquid gets down inside the coil cavity. That can happen by allowing juice to go down the tube when filling. The cure for that is to whip the PV away from you, like when flinging the water off a washed paintbrush. Put a napkin over the tip to catch the liquid that comes out.

Other than that they gurgle when the wick gets beat. These BCCs are sensitive to the amount of wick - too much wick and they're hard to draw through, too little and they let juice down into the coil and gurgle. I've had T3's last a month on one wick and others that last a day. Fortunately they're easy to rewick.

I hate gurgling clearos. I'll keep rewicking my T3's until the coils burn out, but I won't buy more. I've taken to using cartos now instead... no gurgling or leaking, but you can't see the juice level. Everything is a compromise.

i have a few vivi nova tanks and have run into a lot of problems with the wick not being wet enough which has caused burnt flavors and even at one point, the wick to light up like the cherry of a cig. I also like sticking with the tanks to know how much liquid im going through so i just need advice on getting the best possible usage out of the tanks.
