I just watched that one. I also watched one from PBusardo.
A PBusardo Review GotVapes Variabe Voltage eGo Battery - YouTube
I don't think I'll be getting that one.
I'll probably just get one of the Smoktech 900mah batteries. I like the eGo battery size compared to my e-power 18650 for carrying around when I'm fishing or something. I've been wanting to get a 900 or 1000mah battery for longer life but the VV version caught my attention even though it's only 650mah.

I really like mine BUT I won it as a prize, have been considering getting another as one just went out, have probably had it 6 months or more and was using frequently, and I know they don't last forever. I won 2 so I have one left. I hardly ever use it on the red setting, most often on the blue setting. I would definitely consider getting it again in the future and was looking at the company you linked but I don't know anything about them. Ecigexpress was selling it too, though last I looked I didn't see it, but I think it was close to $30 a battery for them. The price for the one you linked is more reasonable, but like I said, I just don't know or have heard anything about that company so am not sure if I would order from them. I don't like mine with the long cones, draw was too tight, I have 2 different kinds of shorty cones, both from madvapes, that I got for them. One kind is tapered and I use with my cartos, the other is perfect to use with a 3.5 ml tank. They last a good while between charges, its hard for me to say how long exactly since I always use multiple things at once but I'd usually charge it every day or 2. Out of all my batts they charge the quickest for some reason. But then pretty much never ran this battery down to no charge first before charging it, unlike my other batts, because I could see the battery level so usually when it was down to like 2 bars I would charge it. My vv egos have served me well, I hope my second one will keep going awhile longer though. They work great with ressurector cartos or tanks with lr cartos in them.

The reason I am thinking Smoktech vs the VV now is because PBusardo put a load on the VV and found that the 4.2v setting actually put out 3.7v under load (just like Smoktechs put out).
The company I linked seems like a good one to me for prices and some of the juices that I've tried from them. I haven't ordered online from them though because the store is only 20 minutes away. I need to hit them up anyway to get some more juice before the weekend beach trip, that's what got me thinking I should get another battery.

Ah, so you've used them before. Ok, good to know. Because I am seriously considering getting another, regardless of the actual voltage being put through, I really liked mine.....

Although, mine was a higher mah than this one, it wasn't 650, I think it was 900 or higher mah. It also was stainless steel. Hmm, could be why this one is cheaper than the others I was looking at, it's a lower mah one, so you'll be charging it more often....

Funny, I just opened up my box from healthcabin that arrived today. I ordered a 900mah vv passthrough in stainless:

[V.V. Passthrough] 900mAh(Variable Volt) USB battery(Passthrough) for 510/eGo - $24.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

I was coming here to ECF to rave about it. The build quality could be much better (button is slightly misaligned, threads on top are not 100% straight either), but it works really well. The device is ~.25" shorter than my Joye 1000mah passthrough.

First test was my tank with a 1.25 ohm carto in it. The 3.2v setting (red) is useless and provides even less vapor than my 1000mah Joye passthrough battery. On the 3.7v (red-blue) setting, it is an improvement over the Joye passthrough. At 4.2v (blue) it is a pretty substantial improvement.

The really interesting test (to me) was to try out the new eGo-C cone and LR atties that I ordered. I put the LR eGo-C on a normal 650mah eGo battery and it gave WAY better vapor than I'm used to. Then, I took my eGo-T cone and atty and put it on the VV passthrough. MY GOD what a difference a little bit of voltage makes. Even at the middle setting it was almost as good as the LR eGo-C on the normal battery. When I juiced it up to "blue", it was a throat hit like none I've had on a device that I own. Further testing with the LR eGo-C atty on the VV passthrough confirmed my findings, although at the highest voltage with the LR atty, the flavor thinned out quite a bit.

All in all, I will be looking forward to more VV passthroughs in the future. This thing rocks!

Around OKC, OK
I have the same thing I got from freedomsmokeusa. My first one had a bit of a malfunction as the top LED was out when I first got it, and after a few months, it quit remembering which voltage I'd set it to. I have a 2nd one (due to loving the first one so much, even with the problems) that has no issues, and I love it even more. It's an awesome battery. I paid $25 for mine as it's a 900 mah battery, not a 650, as I prefer the longer battery life. I very very rarely use it until it's even half-dead, but I like having the capability to go that long if needed. I highly recommend this battery though. I have mine pictured to the left with my ego-w on top :) It looks pretty hot if I do say so myself ;)

I got out of there for $115.
I got my stuff:
5 clearomizers - $10
1 900mah Smoktech eGo battery - $16
100ml sample pack (10 10ml bottles of different flavors) - $30
Syringe - $2

Then I got my dads stuff:
1 900mah battery - $16
5 eGo-C atomizers - $16
5 eGo mega dual coil cartomizers - $18
5 smok tech dual coil tank cartomizers - $14

Then she threw in two clear dual coil cartomizers that have a 510 connection but not the cone connection for my dad to try with his lavatube.

With all the crap I've tried, the most consistent thing has been the eGo mega dual coil cartomizers.
The little clearomizers are alright but you can't chain vape them. You can get about 3 hits before you need to set them down for a minute.

The eGo-C is like a woman, it just can't make up its mind. Me, "Do you want to put out good vapor today?" Ego,"Yes.", "No!", "Maybe...", "Heck no, here's some burnt plastic flavor!", "Ok, here's a good vape.", "I take it back! Here's some burning trash taste!" :?:

lol so sexist but I couldn't help but laugh lol ^

ANYWAYS, I may have to consider that vv passthrough, Rick. Mine was NOT a passthrough, just a rechargeable batt. It looks like this passthrough tho can be used as both a passthrough and disconnected and used as a "wireless" batt? Healthcabin tho comes from China, right? I really am considering getting another, I do like this batt, but I'd like to get it around here, I'm impatient lol

I know I am bouncing around here, sorry, lol, but sheriff, I know what you mean about 3 hits then you got to set it down. I can't help but vape that way, I take 2 or 3 hits at once before I set it down, would maybe take more if I wasn't afraid that I was about to burn my carto or something lol. But that's why I always have a few batts in front of me too, one carto gets hot, I pick up another batt and vape that one, if I still want to vape. That and.....having a variety of flavors too.

I have three of the vv eGo's from Liberty flights and one vv eGo PT from Go-Go. The vv's from LF have some spec problems on their center post but a dental pic will fix that moving it up a bit - I hit four points on the disc and raise a bit - which works, but then screwing them down on an atty or charger may require an adjustment for a new atty or charging. That said, they do seem to work well - saw the video and my guess is that the vv PT runs at 4.2v even under load whereas the single vv's likely don't - just on how both produce taste for my coffee vape - the PT gets it and the vv doesn't quite but for most flavors the single vv should do well, imo.

Fact is, I like the eGo-c batts better. PM me if you want to try one of the singles - restricted to those posting on this thread so far....

@Loveridden:
I love the fact that it's a passthrough (with detatchable cable) because I can charge and vape at my desk, then disconnect the cable and toss it in my pocket.
Yes, Healthcabin is in china, and shipping will take *forever* unless you pony up for expedited shipping. Since you're buying a battery, only "EMS Express" is available for that. It makes perfect sense to do that if you have a bunch of stuff you're ordering (I suggest cartos, clearos, attys, bottles, syringes, etc.).

If you're looking for more immediate satisfaction, a quick search turned up this:
eGo Variable Voltage 900mAh Passthrough
$29 and they are in CT. It looks to be the same (or very similar) to the one that I have. I have no idea what they charge for shipping.

Variable Voltage eGo Battery - Passthrough - 900mAh I Texas Select Vapor
$27 and this comany is in Texas. They have better photos of the passthrough, and I would bet a cold, frothy beer that it is the same one that I have. Again, I have no idea about shipping costs.

Good luck, and be sure to let us know what you end up picking up. I really really like mine, and will be buying more in the future. Some things that I would prefer to be changed on the device:
1100mah instead of 900 - would give about an hour to two hours more vaping time away from the wall. Hasn't been an issue for me yet, but I'm sure it will be eventually...
Mini USB plug. Everything else (almost) uses the micro-usb socket instead. I have a bunch of travel batteries for when I'm out and about that have a micro-usb output on them. It would be nice to be able to use them.
