There may be a link to this and if so please accept my apology and just paste it here.

I have a sigelei 213 and I've always been told by my local vape shop to always watch the volts and never go above 4 volts. Why exactly is this? I find that the voltage changes a lot especially with different juices. Is there a good guide for this somewhere?

I appreciate the information.

Stop listening to that vape shop.
The whole point of using a vv/vw power device is so each user can vary the power output to suit their individual preferences using a wide variety of delivery devices, resistances, pg/vg ratios, flavorings etc...

As long as sufficient CDR batteries are used to power your device there are no limitations, vape it at the power that tastes best to you.

I agree with Topwater Elvis.

The only thing I can think of concerning the shop's "warning" of never going over 4 volts might be that most factory-made coils have a range of voltage or wattage that they perform best at. Going over that range might burn out the coil.

The factory made coils recommended "range" is usually on the package or package insert, and sometimes even engraved on the coils themselves.
