Varitube vs Fat Daddy 510

I am building a few mods that will have a threaded 510. I have the Fat Daddy V3 and love the size and quality, but the new offering from Varitube looks good as well. I have the M10X1 and M10X0.5 taps so I can work with either. Are there any recommendations from those that have used each?

I've only used the VT 510 because I like the thinner pad. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

I agree, I haven't pushed either of mine to their limits to see which is "better". But I will say that i prefer the varitube for aesthetics. Now, to just use up these last few fatdaddy 510s i have sitting around so I can order some more varitubes..

I guess it's a preference issue at best. I use both with no issue, it depends what they're on. I've been using the FDV v4 lately because users can replace the pad with different sizes to suit your needs. A friend asked me if I could use the varitube on his box because he liked the looks better.

Wasn't aware the new v4 had that option. May have to put that into motion for friends who run different sized atty's on boxes I've built for them.

I will try the Varitube, if nothing else just to have the comparison. My stainless steel stock was lost by the brown truck, so I will be working in brass this weekend and the SO is not happy with the stainless 510 with the brass stock...so this one will be a keeper for me I guess.

You will not be disappointed, I have three of them and they all perform flawlessly. My Stillare and Magma sit flush no issue.
