A potato produces about .5 volts at .2 mA so 10 potatoes will produce 5 volts at 2 mA not sure thats enough current but the voltage is there

btw never eat a potato after using it as a battery, the metals react with the potato and produce nasty chemicals

simple high school chemistry that is all, also I'm not sure is it a concern but the reaction of the acid in the potato with the zinc needed for one of the electrodes produces hydrogen gas

Nice, so you could power an atty, and fuel up your hydrogen cell bicycle at the same time..... Then compost the potatoes for your garden when done... the first truely "green" e-cig.

Lemons produce about .9 volts so 5 will produce enough voltage but I'm not sure about the current, could also just use lemon juice to make a battery,, basically the more acid the better a battery it will make
