Im into diy liquids and wondering if you can use VG from walmart? If yes what type?

Yes, many do use WalMart VG. Just make sure it is pharmacy grade.

Yes, but it's usually a little cheaper to get it at some of the online vendors that have it. In a pinch though, the Walmart VG is perfectly fine.

And you can tell it's pharmacy grade when it is label Glycerin USP.

I have used it as well and it works fine and is safe. If I remember right I think I paid $3.00 for a 6oz bottle.

almost all of the major pharmacies carry it, as stated above just make sure it is USP. You will be fine with it.

to ecf Sean Johnand to the wonderful world of DIY. Yes I have used the vg from Walmart with no problems but if you are going to be doing a lot of DIY, I would suggest getting your supply from Essential Depot because it is so much cheaper than buying the smaller quantity. I know the initial cost is a bit more but you really do save money and that is what I am concerned with. There are so many wonderful threads on ecf to help and some wonderful people too. I've used Wally Worlds version of VG & believe it was Humco brand. The only thing I noticed is it seems very thick. Nothing that a little distilled water wont fix.

You do not want the stuff in the skin care aisle. Ask for the pharamaceutical grade stuff because very often it's behind the pharmacy instead of on the shelves.
