If I was looking for some VG to cut nic level of the the flavored PG I ordered, could I not just order the oil off of the herbal websites ?

[FONT=verdana, arial, helvetica]Vegetable Glycerine - 16 fl. oz., 100% pure, Hypoallergenic

^ That's the right stuff, right ?

Its a lot less expensive on those sites, and the nic level in the PG I ordered is a little more then I should have ordered.

Some people add a tiny (and I mean tiny) amount of water to their VG (VG is thicker than PG)mixtures to help thin it out. Some people will add vodka instead of water. I have used both PG and VG to mix my own flavors and I have never added anything to thin it out and have had no problems at all.

yeah i would definitely go vodka before water. the lower evap temperature is kinder to your atty. though i would go with a grain vodka maybe, because potato vodka might have starches (sugars) and they should be avoided. maybe im wrong or just paranoid. but vodka definitely burns at lower temp than water though, so my recommendation would be to use that.

as far as VG to use, Wilton's glycerine is nice (found at Michael's, Hobby lobby, and other cake supply places), and walmart sells a Humco glycerine that some people use on this board. what you want to look for, when in doubt of whether a glycerine is appropriate, is for a USP somewhere on the label. ive been told that that means it is safe for us to vape.
