I have done a lot of searching and reading and still am not exactly clear on this. Can I use glycerin usp, or do I need to find bottles with labels saying vegitable glycerin usp.I promise I am not being lazy I just couldn`t find a clear answer to this. thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me once and for all.

from what i understand, you can use any glycerin labeled USP. however, if it does not say vegetable glycerin, it could be made from animal sources, not plant sources. if you don't care about that, then no problem.
From Wiki: Raw materials used to make glycerol (glycerin) include animal fats, such as beef tallow, and vegetable oils, such as coconut and soybean.

Not all Glycerin is Vegetable Based! Purchase Vegetable Glycerin USP. This means the base Glycerol product was a by-product of a vegetable product. Purchase a kosher product as well. This ensures the final packaging was reviewed by a rabii. It should have an OU copyright stamp on it (enclosed U with a circle). You can read more about it at Vegetable Glycerin.com
