Velocity RDA clone

So i just got the velocity rda clone in the mail, washed the hell out of it, soaked it in warm water with soap for 20 mins still taste like melted plastic.

It sat in the mail box for a while today was 90+ degrees horribly humidity any advice?

I always boil my new rda's in distilled water for at least 30 mins. Remove the o-rings. Wash them in dish detergent.

did you remove the grub screws from the posts?
if there was machine oil in there...............


when I get a new tank or rda I drop it in hot water maybe with a little dishsoap, and get back to it the next day when I rinse it in hot water

Absolutely. I remove everything that I possibly can.

Now what about the peek insulator? Do i need to take it off before i boil it?

No, Peek is good to 400+ degrees F.

I got a real one and a wotofo 1:1 version. This clone had enough machine oil to drill through a steel I beam. Gotta wash em, clone or not.

Took it all apart, didnt boil the o-rings, but took the post and peek insulator off and boiled everything smells fine but the peek insulator, seems like thats where im getting the taste from any advice?

I boil the whole darn thing, o rings, insulators and all. I use water with a little white vinegar, then rinse well under hot water. The soft parts like o rings tend to soak up the oil I think.

Is it possible i got a .... clone? Took everything apart boiled with water/white vinegar for 30 mins, didnt use drip tip i got with it, still taste funky, taste like the peak insulator is giving me a ....ty taste, got it from gvapers.com
