So I get really bored sometimes. I got to thinking about fluid dynamics a bit and I figured why not put velocity stacks on the side of a rda? The goal is to smooth out the airflow entering the chamber and also concentrate more velocity on to the coils. I've noticed a small difference so far after just a few puffs. Will update after more extended use.

Surprised there isn't more replies. Either way UPDATE. After using this setup for a bit now I haven't gotten any burnt taste (.3ohm) even with the smaller air holes so it seems as if the velocity effect is working as intended. Draw seems smoother (less turbulent). Vapor production and flavor I can't really tell because I have no way of measuring that besides what I see in front of me. And even at .3ohm you should be producing a sufficient amount of vapor with turbulent air or not.

Ok now that I can actually post in this forum. I didn't have much discussion in the newbie section

what if...
you manage to bend 90 degrees those stacks and put them on the inside as opposed to what you have and place your coil above them.
you should still have your focused air plus more flavor because of the position and a completely leak free rda!!!!

Like this? This would require a blank cap so you could drill holes higher. Also would have to be very careful to avoid the positive contact and wire.
