Vendors Please don't play Sales Games with us! I'm very insulted by this practice.

I need to Rant a little bit today. As everyone else does I work very hard for my money and I try to save whenever possible. I also let the Vendors know how much I appreciate the particular sale or promotion they may run. I however have had it with these sales promotions I get in newsletters emails etc telling you of all these great %'s off they are going to have and only for us to find that when we visit the site theres a catch! The sale is only on items that have not already been discounted. This usually means maybe 2 or 3 items on the entire site haven't already been marked down 1-5% off the original price. This really burns me up. DON'T CALL IT A SALE AT ALL THEN! Send a sale notice highlighting the items that are actually included in the sale many good Vendors already do so and they get great responses. I just felt the need to vent about this today because a Vendor I know im not allowed to name here in this particular thread that I have supported and recommended to many for a very long time has suddenly adopted this aweful sale tactic. I find it insulting and ignorant. Ok thats my rant for today. Thanks for listening. .
Happy Smokefree Valentines Day my wonderful ECF friends.. Kelly H.

Yes. I also hate gimmicks. I can't stand a vendor that uses give aways & contests. Please, just have decent prices & good CS. I won't purchase from you cause you have a give away or contest. Seems like 'trickery'. I'm not a child that needs to be lured in with gimmicks. JMO

Many, many retailers do this sort of thing. I'm on the emailing/loyalty program for a national chain. They sent me an email with a 20% any full priced furniture item, I need a couch for my basement so I went and looked online. EVERY piece of furniture was already on sale so the coupon was useless, just a way to drive traffic to their site.

I guess what I'm saying is yes it sucks but its not just ecig vendors

My local craft store does this every single week. They send out coupons for 50% off, but the list of exceptions takes up 3/4 of the coupon. One of my former vaping vendors used to have a coupon code, free samples, and constant sales. I ordered quite a bit from them. They quit giving out samples, canceled the coupon code, and now have sales that are only announced here on ECF once every few months and that only last for 12 hours at times, in addition to prices that aren't the best to begin with. I haven't ordered from them in maybe a year and stopped recommending them to the new vapers.

It's just bad business any way you look at it. All we as is for decent prices and good quality products. Stand behind your products and throw us a bone from time to time with a good sale. I don't expect them to give the stuffaway but just enough to get us looking forward to stocking up on some old favorites or even try a fewnew items. But if you are going to include and exclude inside of your sales then mske it faor and let us know tbat upfront not after we give up 10 minutes on your site of our valuable time we can not get back! Just some residual ranting left over from the initial sting yesterday when I found 1 of my beloved vendors pulling this crap.. ahhhh I feel better now lol love you guys for gatjering around my vendor rally to rant and rave with me! Your the best!

What type are you looking for? Ive been through my fair share I may be able to recommend a good vendor for that. I like to use the vendors that sell good quality authentic products and a coupon doesn't hurt either but even more importantly I like to be sure im using a company that stands behind their products like My Vapor Store, Vape Dojo or even Altsmoke.

Another tactic that irritates me is the email announcing "oh, we're having this big 30% off sale on everything in the store! Hurry, it's only good until midnight"... and you go look, and finally figure out that ... the 30% off doesn't kick in until your total order is at least $150.

I know I spend a lot on my vaping supplies, but gimme a break. Here's a news flash for ya, (vendors guilty of this) ... I quit biting. Now I simply shop elsewhere. That's why I'm no longer on your newsletter lists, dudes.

I ended up going to varitube.com and getting this.

So far I've had a pleasant experience i.e. takes paypal, shipped in hours. We'll see how it goes once I get my product in hand.

Yes please come back to this thread and let us know. I knew that I wasn't the only one by far having these feelings of resentment towards these vendors and hopefully others will keep leaving their experiences and feelings about this here on this thread because some of them really need a wake up call. How often do they honestly think the same repeat customers are going to come back and spend $100's of dollars every visit just to save a couple dollars and maybe get some free shipping. Thats anpther thing! They can go online and ship any size package under 13 oz's for between $1.68 & no more than $2.80 to anywhere in the usa! Unless they are actually using priority mail and even then its way cheaper than customers know because they pay online. Im an ebay seller and I do this all day long but I print the amount the shipping costs on the labels. Most ppl dont because they dont want you to know they got to keep $4-$5 of your shipping costs.

Or you get to the site and there's already a "X% of" tag on it... so is that already discounted to everyone who doesn't take the newsletter or is there a discount on top of that for those who do? Your guess is as good as mine since they don't answer the email you send enquiring. Or what about the vendors who bump up their base prices so any discount total equals what everyone else is selling the item for? I quite shopping at offline stores, including grocery stores, that do that. The real question is why, oh why, oh why does the vaping community put up with and even condone these tactics? And don't make the mistake of complaining, by name, any pet vendor or their's. Well, not unless you want to bear the shaming and namecalling. I know... I've just been through it.

Yup thats kind of why I started this thread. I know im not the only one with complaints and in keeping with ECF rules I controlled my true urges to unleash my executioner style "givem the what for" tongue lashing by name because thats what we all would really like to do but I did take the time to add up the 1000's of dollars in saved invoices that my personal family and friends have spent with this particular 808 style battery and huge juice vendor. Then I compiled the lists of the multiple ways in which they now are slapping us in the face with this foolishness. I unfortunately still HAVE TO buy my menthol base from them until I can find a better one and that friends is going to be hard to do. (I SAY HAVE TO WHILE GRINDING MY TEETH TOGETHER AND TURNING RED). The menthol I love and use as my base comes from these goofs, it's very hard to describe. Its like the perfectly minty menthol with intricately woven layers of lightly roasted coffee notes and a very slight cramy vanilla flavor in there too. I guess im just going to have to see whats out there in the way of the best menthol alternative and thankfully I can add my own coffee n vanillas too it.

As promised ;-)

I love my Segelei ZMax. It is hands down the nicest Mod I've ever held in my hands. The fit and finish are top notch and after a quick review the menu is a snap to get through. I'd highly recommend it . I paired it with one of my Vivi nova tanks and am very very pleased. I purchased a DID clone but I'm still fidgeting with it to get it to work the way I'd like. This is my second VV mod and my third mod over all and I'm in love. As long as it lasts I can't see needing another one any time soon.

Thabks for the info! I would love to see some pics of it and to see how it looks with the vivi also. I use the smaller vivi's though. Not sure which ones you use.. I am saving my pennies for the right mod. I was so disappointed by the evic that I just really got turned off on upgrading for a while but youve renewed my interest in the max's..

Many Blessings from the Smokefree Henning Household to Yours...
