Ok, I'm about to place an order to get some tobacco Liquids for Pops and also wish to explore my options more when it comes to tanks, Clearos, XL Cartos etc.

I saw Phil B's review of the SmokyMiZers and he was surprised. Yet I've been seeing a lot of issues with the CE3s leaking etcs. From PBusardo's Review I made the decision to get a Pack since you can get a Fiver for around $10. It's either that or I get some type of DCT with some extra Punched Cartos.

What is everyone's Experience with the CE3's? Does anyone have a relieable source where the Failure rate, failure of leaking(!), is no greater than say 20%? That is if I purchase a pack of Five CE3s I want four of them to work and no more than One to fail.

It's a sad, sad state of affairs when the First World Countries accept the fact that the tanks and Clearos and Attys and Cartos have such a high failure rate and because of this they are not warrantied at all? Do the Manufacturers in China really care not of the quality of workmanship they perform? Tell you what, no way in hell a company in the states, or even Central and South America would put up with such PeePee-Poor Quality Control.

I wonder how hard it really is to manufacture These Apparatuses and have a failure rate of LESS THAN 1%?

I know there are many enterprising North Americans who can pull together, offer a fairly priced product and still turn a profit. It must be pride of workmanship. As you always here on American Restoration "They don't make `em like that anymore'. Well I have a wild hair up my .... and it's not beyond me from trying.

I think the general consensus on these is that they are bad. In fact they have been considered a running joke in certain circles...

I bought some a number of months ago (pack of 5).

1 of them shorted a battery (killed it)
2 of them didn't work at all
the other two were leaky, constant burnt taste and really muted flavour. I just tossed them. They are hands down the worst vaping product I have ever bought (and I include the crappy mall cig-alikes I started on in this)

Add to that the fact that you have to stuff tissue down the top to stop juice going in your mouth and that they leak like sieves and you have a poor product.

Far better to go with the Stardust type clearos (the new replaceable ones are pretty decent) - Don't waste you money.

I bought a five pack of some CE4+ a few weeks ago. They are the CC version so I can change out the heads. One thing I don't like is they have the atty at the top coupled with those short-... wicks. I think its silly that something like this would come with those wicks. They are at 1.8 ohms, was my first experience with something of such low resistance and using juices with high nic levels tends to make the vapor too harsh. I really wasn't wanting to spend any more money on these but a few weeks ago I was thinking of buying some standard resistance, ~2.4 ohms, to make it more comfortable to toke. I'm finding out that I prefer the 'lesser' wattages! Though I haven't had the pleasure of using a variable V device to fine tune the experience.

Maybe I might buy a few of the newer CC long wicks around 2.4 ohms or so.

I got a 5 pack of Smokeless Image's CE3 to try out. They are 808 threaded, but I already had 510 to 808 adaptors for when I use their Volt X2 clearomizers. I got these to try out new juices from vendor's trial bottles or sample bottles. I hated wasting an entire carto on just one juice when I was only giving it a taste to see if I liked it enough to buy a larger bottle. (I don't drip)

They work perfect for my purposes. Small capacity (1.5ml ?), can see the juice, safe for using with all juices, easy enough to ditch the disliked juice, rinse, and refill with another.

I'm with Baditude. Phoenix/Firebird from gotvapes or canvapes. Easy, lots of flavour, lots of vapour, inexpensive. I did have TINY leaks twice when I overfilled. I just vaped it a few times horizontally and it sealed right up.

People have such different experiences...we've just gotta try and find what works for us! And then the next new and shiny product will be released and we''ll want to try it..........:)
