Not sure if this belongs here or reviews, but it's not a review, so here goes.

Just got an order in from Vermillion River, ordered it Monday, got it today, that is quick shipping. Anyway, I got the Kentucky Premium Blend, it is too sweet and perfumey for me and it tastes identical to Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured to me. Anyone else make that comparison/connection?

Funny, I find Vermillian Kentucky Premium Blend to taste like a nice sweet maple like tobacco to me....not perfumey to me at all. However, I found that Backwoods Brew juice perfumey to me.

This is the most frustrating part of vaping, the flavor taste, not consistant at all. So you really have to try/sample $$$ these juices. Juice reviews really don't help that much I'm afraid. I've seen a few and most of what they like and gave rave reviews, I found them to be horrible to me!.....

No way man, totally different for me, I just opened up a package containing a 60ml bottle of KPB from Vermillion after ordering a bunch of 30ml bottles at a time,so yeah really like Kentucky Premium Blend, Tennessee Cured on the other hand has to be for me one of the worst tasting liquids I have tried, I still have that bottle sitting around and still tastes bad to me.
The only similarities I see between the two are, the proximities from Kentucky and Tennessee and that of the two different vendors.

Same here. Just got it Today and it's too perfumey for me. Can anyone who already tried confirm that stepping helps to remove perfumey flavors?

I just got some KPB in last week and at first it had a sort of in your face sweetness.
Kinda like that grassy/hay fresh smell on your dogs paws after he's been running on the lawn. lol
It has since mellowed out and now it just tastes goooood, sweet, but good.
Try spinning the vapor around in your nose to get the right notes.
The Kentucky VANILLA Blend is phenomenal. To me it tastes like fresh cooked waffle cones with (real bean) vanilla ice cream.
I gotta think that Vermillion uses toasted marshmallow or other similar flavors to lend their Kentucky Blend line it's unique sweetness.
Does anyone know?

Also... would "Classic Blend" be the base tobacco used in the Kentucky Blend Juices?

If you're referring to Vermillion River, yes, steeping helped a lot for me. I speed the steeping process up by heating the juice. As soon as I did so, the overwhelming scent went away. After heating, and re-heating a few times, the flavor mellowed out as well. It turned out to be a nice juice, but not one of my favorites.

Classic blend is completely different to me..ashy and peppery. Makes a good blend but I didn't care for it on it's own.

Agreed. My Classic Blend was delegated to menthol duty.

I received a bunch of KY Premiums as a sample pack, which are steeped ahead of time, and I didn't taste or smell any perfume. They all have the nutty caramel tobacco base. Blend #7 is easily my favorite, but I haven't tried the vanilla or menthols yet.

Thanks. I guess I have to move my liquid to a glass bottle and do that heating magic. :)

It also work if you put some water into the microwave, head for 1:30 min, and then put the plastic bottle theres until the water cools down, just let the cap off, shake a bit and repeat the process one more time.

Usually works great, the only thing is that in the heating process you will loose some of the nic on the juice.

The various blends from the same vendor are pretty consistent .. however, we can and do sometimes taste things differently from one human to another .. as well, the equipment varies from user to user, and can change a flavor .. voltage / carto / atty .. etc ..

I have a stash of tobacco flavored liquid that I use to mix with anything I get that seems too sweet / perfume like or whatever ..

Works for me and I don't waste anything ..
