The Council voted 4-1 at its Oct. 1 meeting to have City Attorney Wayne Coment put together an ordinance to regulate e-cigarettes similar to other tobacco products.

Coment is scheduled to bring an ordinance back to the Vero Beach City Council for a first reading at the October 15 meeting.

I'm planning on attending the city council meeting Tuesday. Would love more company on the bench *hint hint*

If I could make it I would show up. But unfortunately due to personal issues it would be near impossible for me to make it on any other day or night but a friday or saturday. If I could I would definitely do my very best to get there. So sorry I know I would want as many people there myself for support. Us vapors are seen to many out there like cigarette smokers, were social outcasts. It's such a shame to.

We've quit smoking... wasn't THAT what they were trying to get us all to do in the FIRST place...? Smh... I'm very proud of myself for quitting and vape now. (so is my entire family after 30 years of smoking)

The meeting is at 6:00 PM tonight! I just got here and found this out. In fact I'm sitting in the parking lot typing this out.

I cannot make the city council meeting tonight.
