because itaste is mispelled and it's too late to be edited (good reason why ECF is like %1 of forums where users can't edit their posts after aprox 2 days?) and might not help others searching for it. Also putting 'button stuck' in the title for searching.
I've been using a plastic version 1 Groove for about 3 weeks and love it. Got a good deal at $47. My fire button stuck and sometimes would keep firing the atomizer. It would get to the point where I was going to contact the vendor/manufacturer about refunding, but then it would stop like 5 minutes later and not happen for a while. I guess it needed to be broken in because it only slightly sticks maybe once a week now and isn't an issue.
Unlike the MVP's fire button that shows battery life by lighting up red/green/yellow, Groove only shows battery life right after being unplugged but you'll probably never come close to running it even %50 empty if you charge daily.
I was worried about dropping the Groove because it's very slippery, but got used to it and never dropped it. The curved sides make for a solid grip. If it were to drop, I'd be more worried about the seam where the two plastic shells connect than the plastic itself breaking since it's pretty hard plastic. I guess that seam would be the weakest link even if a SS Groove were dropped. Someone from another thread: "I've dropped my plastic Groove several times onto hardwood floor without any damage. It is the same floor that broke my SS ZMax and my SS Vamo."
I forgot it in the bathroom a few times before showering and then the room got steamed but it still works fine. My Vision Spinner was handled with slightly wet hands and it broke a couple hours later.
When the battery has reached it's max recharges in a year or so, I can still use the internals for a custom mod if I can't find a compatable replacement battery to fit the groove's case.
