so i got my omega rda recently and have been toying around with it. if anyone else has an omega or has seen one you probably know that the air flow holes are drilled into the deck in a place where it is hard to get air directly on the coil after wicking them. today i experimented by inserting a drill bit into my coils and tilting them so that they sit vertically in the deck. so like the holes at the end of the coil are up and down rather than facing the sides of the build deck. i rewicked it and this way air is hitting directly on the coil. reads at.34 ohms and has definitely improved the flavor, vapor production, and cooled down the vape a lot. I'm sure this will sound dumb to some people i was just curious if there is any danger in setting my coils like this? i made sure they are not touching the deck or posts at all. anything wrong with this? i will post pics if you guys need them it is just a big hassle for me but if you ask then ill be more than happy to supply some pics. thanks guys!:vapor:

I don't see any problem with vertical coils. As long as there are no shorts!
You have an interesting concept there. I think I might give it a shot.

I have an omega and have built both single and dual coils. I always have a problem with them gunking up,
Must be the darker juices that i Vape.

I would be interested to see some pictures if it's not that much of a hassle. :)
