Very confused. Wanting to get started simply, easily and cost effectively..??

Okay - So I'd been eyeing all the pretty ads for the Blu cigs for the last who knows how long.

At a party the other night, I saw someone who had a Blu and I tried it out. I'd been a smoker for many a years, and have stopped, but appreciated the relaxation of the nic and the throat hit.

Health wise, it was a done deal for me. When I saw the ads, I was very intrigued and after trying it out, even more so.

However, after reading the customs issues, etc. I've gotten a bit nervous about ordering from somewhere outside of Canada.

That said, I want my experience to be simple, easy and just FUN. I don't want to mess around with dripping unless I'm really, really comfortable and, if I do this, I want to look at least a little posh. I know it's silly, but that's just how I feel.

There are no places in Canada that sell the Blu line. I liked what I tried.

However, I'd be willing to go with something else, considering they're easy to use, easy to buy the whole package for and have a nice case.

I see all these sites, all these other things and I'm confused to all heck.

Again, I want to buy something that's black, okay in size, and that's similar to the feel of the blu, but reasonable in price. I've done some searching, but really would like a bit more "I'm stupid, help!" guidance

Heck, point me directly to something with a decent quality and menthol, and I'm sold! The Blu just looks so... easy. And relatively cheap. Again, I wouldn't mind going with them, but if I do this, and get a bit hooked on the nic, I don't want to have go to analog cigs.

Hey so it goes..

I am a relavtive newbie and ordered the blu but chickened out after all the horro stories. I would up odering the 510 and I love it. Dripping isn;t anywhere near as hard as you imagine.. there is a lot of good info in the General forum in the newbies thread. I was dripping in two days..lol!! Guess I just like to try new things.. Mixed my own 0 nic juice with a throat hit. Almost matched the taste of my Marlboro Menthol Smooth 100s with a little cinnamon and spearmint.

Hey there fellow nubee. I'm into this barely a month and haven't looked back on 25+ years of analogs. I started with the Red Dragon starter kit ($30) and raced to the big leagues (Janty Stick $90) in just 30 days All worth it IMHO.

I have a DSE 901 from vaporguys.com ($55) and it is very easy to use and parts all over the web cheap ($12.50 batts & $10 atomizers). The 901 is very similar to the blu - heck they are all similar as the tech behind them is the same. It is a touch/feel thing though and preferences abound.

I use to live just next door to Canada (Detroit) and just can't think of Canada as a "foreign" country but some USA vendors may not deliver there. JantyUSA.com has a UK version JantyShop.com either of which I would believe could get you product as well as Vapor Guys (Ohio). I don't think customs is strip searching small parcel mail but looking for the 100lbs box of ecigs to control/slow the flow.

NJoy is another one and they are becoming close to OTC here in the states - available at CostCo no less. Whatever you do, I don't think you'll be disappointed and the $$$ outlay isn't that steep.

Smoke Juice is just as available and in 38+ flavors. As an old Marb guy I don't do menthol but from what I've read, most of the menthol juice out there rocks.

Hey, I have been waiting on my Blu for over a month, I decided to go with one from the electronic cigarette company, I ordered the Full kit of Super E.Cig. It seemed to be a not too bad deal- $100 for 2 batteries, 2 atomizers, 15 carts, 3 different chargers and a case ( non charging type unfortunately).. but not too bad, they also sell juice in case you want to refill your carts, or they sell pre-filled but only in tobacco and menthol flavors..
Being from canada also I've been worried about the border crap, but at least this company has a warehouse right in Michigan..
