Hope you know that you have to tilt and twirl these clearomizers to keep the wicks wet. Also, be careful of the resistance or your clearo. Also keep in mid that the KGO is generally going to provide 3.7 V and Clearos in general are happier with lower voltages than cartomizers. With a fixed voltage PV like the KGO, you can only manipulate the resistance. I think your vape with a clearo will be best above 2.5 ohms.

I have this clearo and a kgo. The flavor is pretty muted and I got a few dry hits even with "spinning/moving". To get rid of the dry hits try and loosen the top a tiny bit (don't make it super tight) and also loosen the battery end a little to get better airflow. Also try taking a "primer hit" after every 3-4 puffs by sucking on it without firing. They seem convenient but are a pretty big hassle compared to a regular carto/tank setup.

Hello all,

I’m using a KGO with The new Vision eGo Clearomizer V2! Longer wicks, better vape! . Here is the problem…..The hits seem to be very dry it’s not enjoyable at all. I don’t want to go back to cig’s it’s been 3 months. I’m not sure if it’s the juice or the clearomizer. What do you think?

Thanks again,
Dotty

Sounds like you are using Hgh Percentage PG e-Liquid.

What ratio of PG to VG e-Liquid are you using?

You are not the only one confused; it is confusing! I am new here, but I'm sure we'll catch on eventually. :)

I think the thing that New Vaper's have to do is just Try Things.

The Good Thing, and the Bad Thing, about this Forum is that No Matter what the Item is, you will find people that say they Love it. And People that say they Hate it. Now that is confusing.

I allways thought that hey, I'm spending less on Vaping than Analogs, don't be afraid to try New Things.

So you buy a pack of 10 Dollar Pack of Cartos and they don't work. So What. 10 Buck is less than I spent EVERY 2 days Smoking.

That goes for e-Liquids. People will Rave about some Flavor or PG:VG Ratio. OK. I try it and it tatsed like a Urinal Cake Smells.

No Big Deal. I just chuck it and move on.

With the Exception of the Month I bought my Provari, I have Never spent more on e-Liquid or Hardware than I did when I Smoked. Most Months it was about 1/4 of what I spent.

So don't be afraid to try New Things.

You'll get there.

I try to keep my life simple.
Here's my setup:
Kgo 1100 mah

Or
Smoketeck 1.7 cartomizers
Gooood juice.
No leaks. No cracks. No strange taste.
Vape on.

For the Kgo I usually stick to LR boge cartos. Get a 5 pack of LR cartos and a drip tip. I fill two of them using the "condom" method in the morning and just move the drip tip between cartos when I want to change, instead of dealing with that soft white cap. It requires a bit more "filling", usually another full fill by afternoon and maybe 1/2 a fill at night but the hits are stronger, more flavor, easier draw and no burning.

I'm using 50/50

Possibly the high VG is not able to wick properly. You could either try 70/ 30 PG/ VG or add a touch of distilled water to thin the juice out. Realize also PG enhances flavor so with a 50% PG you can expect a lowering of the flavor. High VG is also known to mute flavors.
Good Luck

Edit: not directly related to your issue but shows the impact of changing PG/ VG ratio. I was Vaping 60/ 40 PG/ VG X 8 mg Nic. Wasn't getting enuff TH so knowing PG enhances TH I changed the ratio to 70/ 30 PG/ VG. That small change was enuff to give me the much needed TH I was looking for.

You will find on this site the things to stay away from and not waste the money. But for the most part you will have to try things to find what you love. What someone else does not like you may love. There is some junk out there but you will pick up on that right away from this forum. I have been at it for 5 weeks plus and learned a ton. I have found my favorites and I am vaping away. You will also, it takes time and the fun part, trying things. For the most part the attys, carto's and clearo's are not that expensive unless you go higher end right away. I have the benefit of a store near by to actually see things and hold in my hand before I buy. I have tried a lot of different things already and will help if you need.
