For many years I've taken the self-blood pressure tests that you find at the pharmacies, and even at Wal Mart. You sit down and it takes your blood pressure for you, free.
Well, today, I am about 6 weeks into having had my last cigarette (after 28 years, almost Pack a Day smoking) and replacing it with vaping. There was nothing I, nor anyone, could do to separate me from my cigarettes! But that changed six weeks ago, when I saw that eCigarettes could produce this enourmous cloud of smoke/vapor that definitely got my attention. I soon tried an RY4 flavor that tasted much like the Marlboro lights I thought were my best friend... I purchased the vape equipment and liquids.
I'm really enjoying vaping, the gadgets, new flavors, but most definitely the feeling of knowing I am living my life without cigarettes... my cough has disappeared, and my lungs feel much stronger even if it's only been 6 weeks. My gums are pink again!!
But most of all today for the first time since quitting cigarettes, I was with my teenage kids at Wal Mart and we all sat down to take the free blood pressure test.
... And look at my results!!!
To my astonishment, my blood pressure has returned to the very same levels my teenage kids are at, and they are varsity athletes. If you take a look at the chart, the BROWN X's are where I always was in so many prior tests as a smoker, but now I am in the green! In the green!!!! I am just so happy, it is a great day!! Perhaps its true, maybe Vaping is saving my life and lives of other people, and free them from the harm of cigarettes.
