The MVP-2 has both step-up and step-down technology built into it's chip set. So it will vape at the 11 watts you set it at until the battery won't support it. It shuts off at that point saying .......... charge me .. charge me.

The 4v it's showing is the charge left in the battery when you are in VW mode, and really has nothing to do with what is being delivered to your atomizer.
With a normal atomizer/topper you are vaping above 4.2v anyway at 11 watts.
    2ohms @11 watts = 4.7v

Compared to my Provari, which delivers the same vape from start to finish on a battery, I can detect a drop in vapor towards the end of battery charge on the MVP. I can tell the difference when switching from battery-only to pass thru function with the charger. It's not as bad as you would experience with a mechanical mod, but it's still there.
