I only picked this up today so I have not vaped on it much (and will not be vaping on this battery anymore at all.). However the mod was not fused so I am very lucky. One thing however I did notice in the total of 4 puffs I had on this vape is that the button got very hot very quickly. I am assuming this is due to the poot battery.
Not a poor battery per say, totally verboten in your application though.
Glad you came here, picking up current draw is a must to continue the pleasures of a Mech..

I figured I'd post this for you and anyone else out there using mech mods. It gives you the safe range, cautious range and danger range of the resistance of coils on single cell tube mod, series and parallel mech mods. Hope this helps someone out there.

I have a good understanding because Ohm's law and how mechanical mods operate.

No, from your own initial post you don't.
Understanding how a mech operates is much more than filling in the blanks on an ohm's law calculator.
The relationship between ohm's law, battery cdr and your device is paramount.
Dont lull yourself into a false sense of safety.

Before you use a mech again you would be best advised to read @Baditude 's blog and learn how your gear actually works.

Mechs are not for beginners.
You came very close to learning that the hard way.
Whoever gave you that battery to use with that mech isnt your friend, and that build is too low for a single cell mechanical and a new mech user.

That's why I put it on here. A friend sent it to me. I'm just paying it forward. If someone can use it and not blow their hand or face off it's worth it.

That was due to you severely overstressing your battery. You're lucky that you didn't have the battery pop on you and the mod explode in your mouth.
