Very surprised, don't know why people don't like this.

So just like a lot of other people here, I've tried the ego-t, only to find that it sucks. I got bored one day and took apart an ego-t atty, and to my surprise it's incredibly simple. It's an ego atomizer with a metal disk/needle and a wick going through the middle. Most people (including me) hate the ego atomizers, but like the standard 510. I wanted to find a 510 atomizer tank system, lo and behold it exists. Ordered one along with some cartridges from totally wicked, and have been rocking it for 2 days.

Honestly, I'm impressed. I didn't know how well it would work, but surprisingly it's very satisfying. The vapor is on the cool side, and there's a bit less throat hit, but I'm enjoying it. I still use my DCT's and my variable voltage mod box, but for a relaxing, and stunningly reliable vape, I'm turning more and more to my 510-t.

Anyone else tried this? I can't believe I didn't order this before. Sure the juice capacity sucks (.6 ml) but it's easy to refill, just slowly fill through the small hole in the cap. I want to hear other opinions. Once this atomizer is dead I plan on removing the metal spike/disk piece, replacing the wick, and putting it in a debridged 510 atomizer.

i've used these before...LR version 1.8ohm and you're right...i wasnt happy about the amout of liquid. With the LR atty the vapor burns right through that tank and it's empty in about 20 drags. So it wasnt worth it for me...i'd rather use an LR atty and just drip and not worry about wicking issues. My eGo-T tank never leaked on me, so I guess i had no reason to go to the 510-T, but when i did try it...i needed about 20 refills every 2 hours, lol

Ego-T's are very underrated. I got an EGO-T Type B when I started vaping again and it has worked great. If you use a hemostat then pulling off the piercing plate is incredibly easy.

Also, if you take a light and long draw. Then you will get more vapor and TH. Try out the EGO-T LR atomizers. You will get better performance overall.

Actually the 1.5ohm LR 510-T atty is one of my favorite dripping atties. Just remove the wick plate and it's ready to go.
There is a great atty design hiding under that plate. Kinda like a debridged 306 inside a 510 shell.

Yeah, refilling gets kinda annoying, but it's better than dripping. It's kind of what the 510 with cartridges should have been.

The ego-t wasn't to my liking because there was such little flavor, throat hit, and vapor. The 510 t is performing so much better on every level imo.

tj, I might just put a 306 in a 510 casing and put the wick plate on top of it, see if I can make a 306-t. :D
