Very very bad taste!

First Hello to all.
I just ordered my first e-cig, a njoy ecig. I know, I know, I ordered it before I found this site. The problem is it has a really and I mean a REALLY bad taste. It taste just like you lit the filter end on a normal cig. I changed the cartage and get the same taste. The cartage is nice and wet and I don't see any signs of burning. Anyone had this happen to them? I don't have a extra atty to try. I don't really have the money to just start buying stuff to try. I'm sure that something is wrong. Any ideas?

It sounds like the juice isn't getting to the atty. I don't know how that E-cig works precisely but make sure that the filler in the cart is touching the bridge of the atty. On a 501 style I would prime the atty with a few drops of juice before I put the cart on. Try giving it a few minutes connected before vaping to let the wick soak up the juice.

Hello and welcome! The problem is their cartridges just really taste horrible. There isn't any other way to put it. See if you can return it and get either a Joye 510 (if you smoke half a pack or less per day) or an eGo or a Riva (if you smoke a pack or more per day.) Getting started with any one of those will cost you $70 or less for a quality e-cig that will make you very happy. With any one of those, you can buy juice for the cartridges that you fill yourself. More choices, more flavor, more analog free happy vaping.

I just saw a post earlier today about the Njoy and I think someone posted that they have a money back guarantee?? Def get your money back and order a kit that you will be happy with. I'm sure you have found alot of info on this forum, at least enough to know what you would like to order. Good luck- you will find just about everything you need to know on here!

Thanks folks. I contacted Njoy today and they don't do refunds but they said if I shipped it back they would send me another one just like it. So this is what I did. I pulled the cartage out and then used a napkin to dry out the atty as much as I could. I then installed the mouthpiece that was on it when it was shipped. Then I did what I guess what you would call a dry burn a little at a time until the smoke was almost none. As the juice is burning out the awful taste is going away. So I believe that WomanOfHeart hit the nail on the head. Looks like I'm going to find some empty carts and order some e-juice and see if I can find something that I like.
"The problem is their cartridges just really taste horrible." is putting it nicely. I find it hard to believe that there is not something wrong with the juice in this kit.
