Very weird problem with vtube.

Went shopping and left my vtube covered in my car. Came back to my car got on the road and started to vape and my setting was 3.0v instead of my normal 4.8v. I moved it back up to my regular voltage of 4.8v took a puff and again it went back down to 3.0v? Did this three of four times and after about ten minutes it is staying at my regular voltage of 4.8v? Any reason why it would do this out of the blue?

How hot did it get? Heat, or wild temp. swings, do strange things to electronics, triggering safety circuits, changing resistances, etc.

I live by the beach and there is a pretty good marine layer today so not too hot, but I was thinking that may have very well had something to do with it. I cant find my manual do you know the operating temps by chance?

Could be (if your using one ) a bad carto or atty. Shorting out then the tube readjust's.

Too high or too low temperatures can lead to a rapid discharge batteries. This is normal.
Of course you should try to avoid overheating of the battery and protect it from direct sunlight.
