VG acidic taste in mouth, throat?

Hello there everyone. Wondering if anyone has a idea about this one. I recently got a bunch of new juice flavors to try out. I found the the licorice (not sure if it was red or black, it didn't mention at the site, I was hoping for black but I still don't know what this was supposed to taste like) and the almond flavors absolutly revolting. They didn't taste anything like licorice or almond. They kinda tasted like primer (def wasn't primer by the by, just tasted something like that) and I had a sort of acidic taste/sensation in the back of my throat.

The other flavors where just dandy.

I then noticed that these two flavors where VG and all the others where PG.

So, has anyone noticed something similar? Am I having a negative taste reaction to VG?

You might have a sensitivity to VG - could be as simple as that. I vape mostly all VG but Im thinking sometimes it doesnt agree with me - I have to check though if I have PG so I can compare. I got some carts of capucino from cignot and not issues with them at all - but i have another juice that is mostly PG with some VG that feels a bit 'burny on my soft palate' (easiest way I can describe it lol)
Is it the VG? Is it the PG? Is it the nic strength?
Right now Im not sure (didnt get the burny feeling iwth a higher strength that was all PG so I'm thinking its not that)
It could also be that batch was bad - have you contacted the ladies at Cignot and asked? Thats worth doing so they can check if anyone else has complained it fcould just be a bad batch they got.

What you're describing sounds like dry atty flavor. That's the taste/sensation I get when it's time to refill. You're certain the juice is getting to the atty?

I believe most of the VG liquids from cignot are dekang, unless otherwise stated like the ecopure or their new brand BASIC. Dekang has a reputation for not being the tastiest flavors out there and I detect a chemical taste in both the PG vanilla and VG vanilla I have. The VG vanilla doesn't have nearly the vanilla taste of the PG.

Hi there, no I don't think it's dry atty. I've gotten pretty good at using my e cig at this point. I don't know how quite to explain the taste/sensation, but it was just nasty. And switching attys didn't make a difference, cleaning them either. I'm sure it's not the nic either.

I guess I just may have a sensitivity to VG, but I thought it was the other way around, people had a PG sensitivity.

But suffice to say the VG juice was just completely different from any PG experience I had. And again, the flavors (licorice and almond) just weren't there at all, not in the slightest.

I guess I could have some other people try some, see what they taste.
