Where can I buy a clean tasting, or tasteless nicotine base?

Ive recently dove into DIY mixing for the first time and Ive run into a problem. The nicotine base I'm using has a noticeable taste that is effecting the flavor of my mixes. At first I thought the taste might be the flavors I was using so did a few mixes without flavor and found that the harsh flavor was definitely coming from the nicotine I was using.

Ive ruled out all other possibilities as well, I tested this nicotine in 4 different cartomizers and got the same result. Each time I tested it I used a different PG/VG ratio to see if the PG or VG was causing the problem, but I get the same taste in all my mixes.

My mixes were done at 26mg strength, which is fairly strong but I vape 24mg premixed liquids on a regular basis without noticing the nicotine taste nearly as much. Out of fairness I told the distributor I would not review this nicotine base until I have something to compare it to. It's possible that all nicotine bases will have a noticeable taste like this, but until I try something else I wont know for sure.

The distributor was nice enough to give me a full refund so I have some money to try my luck with another nicotine base. With that being said does anyone have ideas on where I can get nicotine that is known to be cleaner tasting, or tasteless if possible?

Id prefer mixing with higher concentrations of nicotine, my current bottle is 100MG per ML in a PG base. Id be willing to try as low as 60MG.

If anyone has any suggestions on distributors Id love to hear about them.

Are you steeping your mixes? Anytime you add different things together it takes a little time before they really blend.

Ive tried steeping the flavored batch for a week without any noticeable difference, I am a bit confused as to whether or not that would be necessary on a mix without flavor though. The three test batches I made without flavor have now set for a couple weeks, I haven't tried those since I mixed them.

Another really clean nic base is by Halo, called Fusion, it is great to vape alone even, it is what I started mixing juice with. It is expensive tho. bnrk

I ended up going with xtremevaping 100mg pg nic. As soon as I got it I tested it for nicotine content using the acid and blue test. It tested very well just like the other nicotine base I have but the flavor test didn't do as good as id hoped.

Just like with the other nicotine base I diluted this one down to 26mg and vaped it without flavor at 60pg/40vg. I can taste the nicotine, but perhaps this one is a tad bit less harsh. Its hard to say for sure because they both taste similar.

This might be the natural taste of nicotine afteral, and I might be sensitive to the taste of it. It's not so bad that I can't work with it though. I can try adding slighly more flavor in my mixes and a bit less nicotine, perhaps 22mg instead of 26mg.

Weird thing is that the premixed stuff I buy is ususaly 24mg, and I havent noticed the taste of the nicotine near as much.

Anyways, I'll give some different mix ratios a try, if anyone has any thoughts or tips on reducing the taste of the nicotine base I'll still be checking this forum from time to time.

Try adding a little more flavor and also MTS vape wizard will smooth it out..a couple of drops of EM might help also..
