VG Cartomizers Ruined PG for me :(

Its not a bad thing lol but I dont like PG anymore so now I have a ton of PG that I dont need/want lol I have alot for trade if anyone doesnt like VG that they would like to get rid of. I was always used to low LOW throat hit of Djarums and VG is right up where I like it to be. So Looks like I will be making the move to VG exclusively. I cant wait till they start carrying more VG juices and Cartos!

Why not just add a few drops of VG to what you already have? When I first tried VG I was in awe at all the vapor but the flavor left something to be desired. But it wasn't from V4L.

I would but I have only PG juices lol I was fine with the PG until VG came out and that pretty much did it for me heh

You can get some VG at the store or online, just add a couple drops to the cartos you have, it won't hurt them and will greatly increase the vapor production. Make sure it is Vegetable Glycerin USP. I get mine here:

It's a cheap way to fix up your problem and not have to deal with trading off all your cartos.

It just tastes sweet and makes lots of vapor.

I agree it really does help tone down the throat hit if you just add some VG. If it is a new cart you might want to blow/spin some of it out before adding the VG. It will affect the flavor though if you use alot.

I dont know if I want to do all of that VG mixing I like to keep my refilling simple and just refilling from a bottle thats already flavored I like to refill so just topping off PG cartos with VG will just make them flavorless as they burn up. i'd rather trade em off and refill with premade VG

pugzley,I got some glycerine at walmart thats humco brand usp but its just glycerine not vegetable will this work anybody? Thanks

ive noticed the VG is smoother on the throat... and the mint cartimizers seems to come alive.... maybe its mind playing tricks but the VG cartos are really good.

Why does it have to be Vegetable Glycerin? Can I just use regular anhydrous Glycerin USP 99.5%? Correct me if I'm wrong but USP means it's food grade correct? Does anyone have any practical experience with this or any other compelling reason? Is it just that the vegetable oil source of the glycerin sounds more natural and appealing?

taryn, thank you I don't mean to beat a dead horse but I've put like 5 drops in 5ml bottle and does'nt seem to do much of any thing.

Its very thick so make sure to shake the bottle well. I usually add about 1ml to a 5ml bottle and I can see an increase in vapor and a slight extra sweetness and less throat hit. Much more than that I think dilutes the flavor too much for me.

i think i was mildly relieved that the VG didn't do anything special for me, hah. i mean, it's fine, and i got the leaford sampler too, on my last order, but at least i won't be anxiously awaiting every flavor i already like to come in VG.

I use vegetable glycerin USP because it is the recommended thing to use here on this forum by people who have been doing it for a long time. And some glycerin can come from animal fats. I don't want to use animal fats in my attys. I'm not even sure what that kind of glycerin would do when vaping it, if anything. But, I'm not into reinventing this wheel, so that's why I use what everyone recommends here. USP mean pharmacoepia grade and is heavily regulated. Here's a link that talks about all different kinds of grades, etc. of glycerin, my computer is running too slow to read all the links but this might help you somewhat.
