Hey guys, I've got a dozen Flavour Art concentrates here and a few Capella and TFA on the way. But I have a feeling I may have to give up on PG flavours because the PG or the flavouring (I guess it's the PG) messes up my tongue, burns away the top layer of filiform papillae and makes it look like patchy like geographic tongue. Leaves a disgusting chemical and bitter taste in my mouth and stops me tasting juices properly. I have nothing but issues with vaping. It was all fine in my first 3 months back at the end of 2013, then started going wrong for me.

I'm back on boring unflavoured VG and nicotine, because it doesn't really give me any bad effects other than a slight dryness and sandpapery feel at the back of the tongue.

So I'm considering these VG concentrates
VG Concentrates

and would using with AG which has 20% distilled water, instead of VG, help the VG concentrates to carry the flavours through more easily?

Assuming they are 100% PG free flavours, is there anything else likely to be in them, like alcohol? Has anyone tried VG concentrates and are they any good? I'm assuming I'd have to pour a ton more drops of flavour to get any flavour to carry through and a whole lot more steeping time?

I also had skin issues with PG that cleared up within a few days of switching to unflavored PG-free.
I eventually added PG flavoring until I found a level my body can tolerate (10%).

I also started alternately using PG-free flavorings from Nude Nicotine at 6%.

I use 7% saline in my 10% (PG) flavored Max VG with VG nic. 10% PG total.
I use 5% saline in my 6% (PG-free) flavored 3mg PG nic. 3% PG total

Both of those formulas net my juice about a 70VG equivalent viscosity.

The NN flavors are VG/alcohol based so need plenty of aerating/steeping

I haven't been able to use the non PG concentrates, way too much ethyl alcohol.

Have had better luck just vaping very little flavoring, almost unflavored, but just a drop of flavoring...that little PG doesn't seem to bother me. I can probably go to about 10%, but I usually don't.

Thanks for the replies guys. Hmm, I might just order 3 random flavours from that place and try them. I don't know if they have alcohol in them or not. If they do, that may or may not be a problem, at least, compared to PG.

Was reading about virgin vapors eliquids. It's not DIY concentrates, it's premade juice, but they seem to have two lines. One which uses ethyl alcohol, and another called absolute line which uses no PG and no alcohol, just organic flavours. So if there's no alcohol and no PG, I wonder how well flavours carry.

Some of Nude Nicotine's flavors are plastic reactive

These are not and I found them very good to excellent:

Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Patchouli Vanilla
OMFG Chocolate
Melon Madness
Watermelon Mint
Pumpkin Velvet
Ooples & Banoonoos
Apple Pie a la Mode
Verry Berry

Recommended Nude Nicotine Flavor %?

Hey guys, I got an email from justvape 24/7 here in the UK, saying

"All our flavours are alcohol (ethanol), acetyl and diacetyl free. Sore throat, harsh throat hits are commonly associated with PG. I do recommend you use VG Nicotine, VG & VG flavours in your e-liquids. If you use a dripper than using 100% VG for your e-liquid will be fine as long as the flavour starts at at least 20% however if you are using a tank, I would suggest using VG Nicotine, VG flavouring and AG. AG is a combination of VG and distilled water. AG carries the flavour better and also allows the e-liquid to be runnier and less gloopy allowing it to also vape better.

I highly suggest you do try our VG range and our Angel's Touch range as we created them with people who like you suffer from a PG intolerance.
"

Their Angel's Touch range is supposedly organic and AG based. So I might buy some of each range.

Anyway guys, I'd be a bit concerned about alcohol based concentrates because I just read this which is rather alarming to me. On the other hand, this guy might be being a bit sensationalist without knowing the facts properly. What do you think?

The Myth Of "So-Called" Organic E-Juice.

' Ethyl alcohol or ethanol has many of the same properties as PG and it can be rated as an organic compound but it is dangerous to your health if used in high concentrations. '

And he hyperlinks to this, but then again, he's linking to an article from way back in 2004:
Alcohol vaporiser to be investigated

I'm concerned also about myself buying any natural and organic flavourings because of lipids.
