So I was checking out FlavorWest as another possible place to get some flavourings from. They seem to boast "ultra strength" flavourings, but when I check out a flavouring, it suggests that they be used in 25-50% concentration. Now I'm wondering how this can be considered "ultra strength?" That's about 5-10x more dilute than everyone else's flavour concentrates, and means you have much less control over your PG/VG ratios.

What's up with that?

I looked at the flavors description and it states .25 - .50. That's weak...

I'm assuming those numbers are referring to decimal points out of 100 (as in .25 = 25%). The only other option is that they mean 1/4 to 1/2 of a percent, which would indeed be ultra concentrated -- ridiculously concentrated, in fact, to the point where one drop would sufficiently flavour a 10ml bottle of liquid. Very unlikely.

I might by that they may be expressing the percentage wrong and put the decimal place in the wrong spot, but otherwise those numbers mean one quarter to one half of your juice is their flavouring.

Those are great points..I'm thinking they did make a typo on the decimal point..My bud made some havana flavor at 5% and he said it was very good..I looked at the site and they have unique flavors, and great prices...I really need to ask them if it's 2.5 - 5.0%....

Their tropical punch is awesome, but it seriously needs 30% and some sucralose. I didn't like the cinnamon red hots at all. Lemonade was tasty also, but again, needed alot. The good thing, the flavors are good and it's dirt cheap. The bad thing, if you prediluted your nic down, it might take too much flavoring and you cant get your strength. For me it's fine, I'm vaping 4-8mg/ml and have my nic diluted to a 50/50 mix at 20mg/ml so I have space to play.

I have found pretty much all the mint and menthol flavors to be strong no matter what brand I use. It seems to be when you get into a more custom flavor that the flavor concentration may drop. I have found FW cupcake and TFA Belgian Waffle to be very weak flavors. Was a real dissapointment since they both sounded so good.

I don't think I'll be doing any business with Flavor West any time soon.
Their cheapest shipping is $10.50. Outrageous shipping costs and their flavorings just don't seem to be very good.

Yup, that's the Goods, some dam good flavorings there, as far as menthol goes menthol crystals are menthol crystals it's just how much ya use and what else you add that makes the menthol what it is. As far as flavorings go I think that N/F is some of the best dam flavorings out there on the market. I use them for most all of my DIY and my juice turns out excellent.!!!

I've used Flavor West flavorings and thought they stunk, if you want to try a decent flavoring out give natures flavors organic flavorings a try from there coffee & Tea section.

What kind of shipping charge have you gotten there, mwa? I just checked them out and got a shipping quote, and for one 2-oz. bottle of flavor (which is $15) they gave me two shipping options: $5.00 to pick it up in their store in California or "our flat rate via UPS" which is $15.45! To ship one 2-oz bottle? Really? I feel like I must have missed some other option somewhere.

you didn't miss anything. i have wanted to try natures flavorings for quite a while now, but refuse to pay $15+ to ship a a few ounces of liquid. they had a "special" last week with a $10 flat shipping charge. i still couldn't bring myself to pay that.

vaporize does sell 6ml bottles of NF for $5/each if you wanted to try some of them out. but that is not a great deal either, however, it might be a less expensive way to try some of them out.
