So, I first started vaping back in 2010. Unfortunately, somebody stole my DSE901 and I went back to the analogues. :( I`ve decided to give it another shot, as I`m just plain sick of smoking. I just ordered an eGO-C and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. However, I used to have a problem with the harshness of the PG liquid and wanted to try some VG.

Things have really boomed since 2010. There are so many suppliers now and I`m completely lost as to where I should buy my supplies. I already think I overpaid for my eGO-C :\. Does anyone have some good recommendations for some high quality VG e-liquid? I also read somewhere that 100% VG can be rough on the e-cigs. Is this true?

Thanks!

It may be true, but I've certainly never heard of 100% being hard on any device. I really doubt it. If that's what you want, you might consider ordering nicotine from one of the vendors like Wizard Labs. I believe they offer a choice of all vg or all pg. You can buy glycerine separately and dilute it as needed. You will probably save lots of money that way as I understand the cost of flavoring is where the money is at.

If you don't want unflavored, many online and B&M vendors will mix to order.

Have you considered buying your unflavored nic juice and just putting your own flavors in it? The DIY part is really easy and so cost effective. You can purchase flavorings in vg and add them to you unflavored nic juice. Not very hard to do I promise. I have read where the vg can be a bit hard on coils but you can always add a bit of distilled water to thin it out just a tad. Your darker juices like a tobacco or a sweet custard can be hard on your coils too. That is why you will need to watch a YouTube video on how to properly do a dry burn to save coils. Also easy.

There are so many threads on here where you could get some DIY information. Either way good luck to you. If you decide to make your own...here is a list of venders that sell flavorings in vg. This list is for you as well as anyone else reading this that have considered DIY vg juice.

Alien Visions offers VG and mostly VG based juices. Their juice may work in your Ego C, the viscosity of AVE juices seems thinner than some of the other VG vendors. Their Bee's Knee's wicks well in my Aspire BDC, and in all of my other tanks as well. Thicker VG's such as Heathers Heavenly Vapes is pretty thick, and I would not recommend it for a Ego C, as it will clog and dry hit. But you can have it custom made by adding a percentage of PG to thin it out. These are both good VG juice vendors.

Good luck on the second time around, and there is really good gear now compared to 3 or 4 years ago! :vapor::vapor:

Oh, I forgot to mention that VG is harder on the attys. It builds up quicker than PG. I use anywhere from 100% to 70% VG in my tanks. I do not vape more than two tank fulls of juice on my attys without cleaning them, dry burns. This helps prolong the attys life when vaping VG juices.

I've vaped pg free e-liquids for the last 6 months and I haven't had a problem with them on any of my devices. Most vendors usually thin the thickness of the vg with either distilled water, some form of alcohol or both.

As far as vendors, I can suggest Virgin Vapor, Potion Vape (OrganaTine Line), Tetra Vape, and Heather's Heavenly Vapes (purity line).

I hope this helps and good luck with your second try.

If you're on a budget, you can get 100% VG mixed with distilled water from Mt Baker Vapor. I recommend their Moo juice, Blu Moo, Vanilla Butternut, Cinnamon Roll and Sticky Bun. Most ppl love their Hawk Sauce, but it has too much mint for me. The Moo and Hawk need steeping, but the other's I mentioned are good to go.
