I was a big fan of Johnson Creek's VG smoke juice, but i heard a rumor they no longer offer "non-PG", and instead have a "reduced PG" formula.

PG is no bueno, at least for me (It leaves me with a very uncomfortable sore throat), and after a long google search came across LiquidXpress and eLiquidPlanet as alternative sources of VG smoke juice.

However their flavor selection is almost as limited as the available nicotine strength.

Does anyone know of SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET VG juice?

I'm nearly at my wits end with this endeavor, and any support will go a long way.

THANKS!
Salt

(PS, the higher NIC-strength, the better. I can always cut it down to size)

PG vs VG ???

I really enjoy PG. I was using Hilton from RuyanDirect, somewhere between 18 & 36mg, and loved it! But after about 3-4 weeks of vaping, i developed a sore throat. I went back to some Johnson Creek VG juice i had stashed, and the soreness vanished.

VG is sweeter, and feels less like smoke. But since switching, have found it much more enjoyable. I can use as much as I want. This way, if i feel like vaping heavy, I can reduce my juice, and have no worry of "smoking" too much.

NuVapes "non-PG" is PEG, and I dont really care for it. It makes the flavor bland (*for me), and hard to differentiate. But to tell you the truth, it feels the most like smoke. And I hear allows for the nicotine to stay in your bloodstream longer.

Positives and negatives.

VG just works for me. Its like when you started smoking. And you bought a pack of these... a pack of those... tried menthols... and then one day, you just figured it out. It just worked for you.

Now where can i find some VG Hilton 36mg???

Seriously!

I spoke with JC and they are NOT getting rid of NON-PG --they are revising its formula as well and will be back on the market very soon. What they did was get rid of the Tobacco Absolute in all of their e-liquid as they know it will never pass FDA approval as it is a fragrance and not a flavoring. They want a product that is 100% tobacco free and the NON-PG is the next to be reformulated. They did not say when, but they did say soon---------Sun

Thanks Sun!

That's good to hear.

I've been emailing Rob @Liquid Xpress, and he may be my new supplier. I have already placed an order last night, and it should be here in a couple of days. Much faster than JC ever was (*for me).

I'll update after the package arrives, and I have a chance to really give it a go!

I opened my first bottle of VG last night, and I'm amazed at the amount and quality of vapor, as well as the smoothness my 510 is kicking out with VG. Seriously, I vaped an entire cart of straight VG, just because it's so much like smoking an analog, experience-wise. I've only got TW's 18mg PG juice on hand, so I'm now vaping that 50/50 with VG. I've got some 36mg PV coming, so that will improve the kick, but I think once I'm done with that, I'm going to be exclusively using VG.

I bought the 510 expecting to get gobs of vapor, and I just don't with PG, at least not consistently. VG does exactly what I was looking for, and once I get the mix where I want it, I think I'm going to be a very happy vaper.

Hi, about the JC juice VG -- I bought some 24mg/ml unflavored VG from:

They have all strengths, FAST shippers, The Jaaxx's.
I can't use PG either, so I figure by adding another 30% of my unflavored to my mix may be able to use the reduced VG from JS. It works very well, haven't noticed any PG symptoms as of now, but it's only been a couple days so keeping my fingers crossed. You know, the un-flavored VG isn't bad tasting all by itself, tastes sweet, but no flavor. If worse comes to it, I think I could live with unflavored. Super vapor, by the way...

For me, I've been using a mix depending on what PV I'm using. If I use my Titan (510), then I've been using VG from Vermont Vapor. Their products are apparently ONLY VG based at this time and they seem to have quite a variety of flavors.

If I use my RN4081 from SE or my 401, then I've been using PG liquid from eliquids and TW. The other two just seem to work better with the PG than the Titan does. The only problem I'm having with the Titan is that I have to top off way more often as I've been getting that burnt metallic taste after about about 5-6 puffs with and without the straw mod. I'll be posting on the technical forum to see what I can do about that tho.

I am having the exact same issue with my 510. to be honest, I'm having to top off quite a lot for all my devices; 5-10 drags for my 510, 15-25 drags for my 801, and 40-60 drags with my 601.

Also, just wondering whether people are mixing unflavored VG with their PG juices, or if people are using only unflavored/flavored VG for their carts...

If you're looking for flavoring for your vape, look to your local tobacco shop. Many of them are starting to carry a product called tasty puff (to flavor tobacco..), and I'm planning on purchasing some here soon to flavor my glycerin. Homemade e juice here I come :)))) I'll let you know how it tastes

oh very cool! Yes let me know!

Just looked at the site: http://www.tastypuff.com/

Looks like if you order online, its a min of 6 bottles for $25 FREE ship..I will email them and find out the ingredients..

Wiltons Glycerine is all I use now..that and flavor drops and a bit of vodka to thin it out..talk about cheap vaping!! It only cost me less than $10 to vape a month.. (no nicotine of course)

Miss Vapor - where do you get the Wilton's Glycerine from? Is is VG? I'm a no-nic person and looking for the cheaper way to go. Also, where do you get your flavorings?

Any info would be most appreciated!

PS LOVE your avatar!!!!:)
