vg odor?

hey guys, i was wondering if anyone else has noticed that vg liquid has a strange odor to it. i recently purchased a few different flavors of 30% vg liquid from two different vendors, and they all seem to have a strange odor to them when vaped. this is the first time i have tried vg, and i initially thought that it was just the vendor, but both vendors' liquid had the odor. i didn't notice it too much at first, but it drove my wife crazy, and when i switched back to my normal liquid which is all pg and then tried the vg stuff, i really noticed it as well. is it coincidence that the liquid i got is doing this, or is that typical of vg?

I have never noticed VG having an odor! I make my own DIY juice and have a bottle of VG and it doesn't smell like anything to me at all.

You tried the same flavors in PG and VG both and only the VG has the smell? I've tried a lot of flavors that have a perfumey chemical taste- is it like that?

None of my VG has had a specific smell, none of those I've bought or my DIY .
Perhaps it's a particular flavor? Certain flavors can be pungent no matter if they are in pg or vg.

I tend to agree. I have a family member with a nose like a bloodhound, she mentions that my vapor has a strange smell - not like analogs of course, but still noticeable. I vape menthol and RY4, and I'm willing to bet that when my new flavors arrive certain flavors will leave a stronger residual smell.
