Had a question so I can get started. On Wizard labs website they sell 36mg nic in PG or VG. Say I buy 36mg in PG and my target of nic is 18. I cut that 50/50 with VG and add my flavoring accordingly? And do I still need to add PG?

I was thinking if the nic already has PG in it I can go ahead and mix in VG with the flavors I want? Just want to clarify. Thanks.

You can cut the vg nic solution with a pg solution and get your 50/50 base, then add your flavors. If you want to get into the small details where your flavors contain pg then you can figure in how much pg/ml they consist of, subtract that from the pg solution, use a vg solution instead to replace what you took out, and this will keep a true 50/50 base. I personally don't do this since it is such a small amount.

My preferred method of mixing is frothing. I got a cheap one on amazon and it works great: IKEA Produkt Milk Frother

Uses two AA batteries.

For DIY ejuice - I froth three times and let liquid clear each time between frothing. Bottle ready to go - no need to steep.

I was very interested in this when I first heard about it, but one of nic's enemies is oxygen. By aerating it with the frother, the oxidation process is heightened, which can result in a loss of nic and flavor potency. Have you ever tested the nic content before and after? I'm curious how frother affects it.
