The differences are fairly minor and mostly you have to try it to really know your personal preference. Fewer people have reactions to VG, it produces more vapor, it's slightly sweeter, it can dull flavors, and makes the vapor cooler and smoother. PG has more TH and carries some flavors better, and produces less vapor. 20% VG / 80% PG is usually enough VG to give vapor if you want that without much reduction in TH and sometimes flavor.

Just read the Nicotine level in Marlboro reds (what I use to smoke) Nicotine level is .8
How is it we buy Liquids with such high levels of Nicotine? 24mg 30mg ?
I'm confused

.8mg is the amount that you absorb from the smoke. When it says 24mg that really means 24mg/ml - and one ml is approximately 30-35 drops. Meaning each drop has about a cigarettes worth of nicotine, but not all of it is absorbed. A little is destroyed by the vaporization, and a little is there in what you exhale. Precise amounts are still being tested for. The body tends to self regulate the nicotine levels to some extent, but it's very true many vapors might be getting more nicotine than they did with cigarettes.

There are some good answers both of these questions in the ask the vets and health sections.

There's even a pros/cons on pg/vg

Most liquids are a combination of PG and VG.

Generally, it's said that PG gives better throat hit and flavor and VG gives better vapor...
VG is also preferred by those allergic to PG.

It's a matter of preference. I prefer a VG dominant liquid.
I get heartburn from too much PG.

Why don't you get a PG dominant AND a VG dominant liquid and see for yourself.
Alien Visions makes awesome VG liquid.

There's awesome PG based liquid everywhere.

Good choice on a 510 ;-)

Where are you getting your liquid from?

I'd say get it from 3-4 different places.

Start here or look for advice in the reviews etc...

I like these folks. Good to deal with.

Whats the most popular level of Nicotine in Liquids?
I don't want it to be to high of a level for me and not like it.

Is 24mg the most popular? Cause I see more 24mg on most sites I look at rather then 10mg or 16mg.

I'm not looking to spend a lot of money yet. I don't know if I am going to like it or want to stick to E-Cigarettes. It is my first order.

I am looking at cignot . com
They don't have a very good selection, and they sell ECOpure which is $1 for 1 ml.

I think the reason for having a need for higher nic concentrations(very subjective from vaper to vaper) is that nic in a cigarette is delivered primarily in the tar. The tar transmits nic to the blood directly. Depending on if you exhale just after inhalation, inhale deeply etc., it changes how much nic is being absorbed. Prolly other variables also. If I feel like I need a cig ASAP, I go for the 36mg juice. Otherwise I vape my low nic creations, which are mostly VG. I prefferre VG, I have a slight reaction to juice w/ too high a PG ratio.

The body tends to self regulate the nicotine levels to some extent, but it's very true many vapors might be getting more nicotine than they did with cigarettes.

The New Zeland study (which I can't find the link to right now )
revealed that e-cig users absorb into the blood (with blood serum levels) 10% of the nic content of the juice.

So, with 24mg juice, you'd be absorbing (according to this study) 2.4mg per ml of juice vaporized.

Given 30 drops per ml, that's 0.08mg per drop.

If about 10 drops go in a cart, that's a cig per cart (assuming you vaporize all that 10 drops, use it till it's completely dry) Adjust for the number of cigs you used to smoke in a day, and there you have it.

We really get much less nic, all of us, than when we used cigarettes.

Using the numbers in that study, I really wouldn't worry too much about using the "higher" levels of nic juice if you need to :D (some need higher levels to stay away from cigarettes, some don't.

I don't do the math, I personally don't care. I vape the strength that keeps me from wanting a cigarette and I vape when I feel like I want to or need to. I like me happy.:D:D

Has anyone tried the USA Blend Tobacco 18MG from Ecigsupply.com?

Do you mean the Dekang USA blend? I believe it is the standard dekang juice that comes in the prefilled carts. If you mean the Vapers Choice VG Tobacco flavor, I just got some. It's not "bad", just not alot of flavor. I am switching between that and the VC English. I'd say it has more flavor than the English, but not nearly as strong flavored as the Strictlyejuice 36mg VG Tobacco flavor(my favorite tobacco so far). I am a little disapointed actually, not in the customer service at all(excelent). In fact they were out of the menthol 3mls(I ordered 2), so they gave me a 10ml of menthol instead to prevent a delay in shipping. NICE! I'll post back w/ some impressions of their other flavors, but I have been vaping my own fruity mixes for a couple of weeks and I'm a little burnt out on fruit/desert flavors at the moment.
