Vg...pg?

so for the longest time i actually thought that vaping higher % vg was clogging my attys and cartos, and seemed to get better results with a 50 50 mix. however, just tried some new juice that is 100% vg and my boge carto is going strong after 2 days, as apposed to some juices where they would after a day start to lose that fresh carto taste and hit.

so my question is..is it really the mix..or the ingredients that clog attys or cartos?

Darker flavors tend to clog more than clearer ones.

It can be a bit of both. It depends on what goes into the flavours you're vaping. It also depends on the thickness of the VG. Some vendors thin their VG, and that won't clog your cartos as much. Unthinned VG is very syrupy, like a bottle of pancake syrup. If the one you have doesn't look really thick then it's probably thinned and would work better in cartos than straight, pure VG.

Not all VG juice is the same. While Alien Vision is very thick, Johnson Creek Red Oak line is very watery and Dekang VG is more oil like. So it has more to do with the vendor and specific juice (ingredients) than PG or VG.

In my experience, if you put a drop of the juice somewhere and it dries sticky, cartos won't be happy with it for long. My guess is that it's a sweetener that does that.
