I thought it would throw the pg/vg out of wack
Like if I was baking! I wasn't sure since all I've had were 50/50 blends

For most folks the ratio of pg/vg isn't critical. The only time it might be a problem would be for those that have a problem with one or the other. I personally don't pay a great deal of attention to the ratios of mine. I mix it somewhere in the range of 60/40 and call it close enough.

Another ? Why does my unflavored 50/50 with 18mg of nic taste peppery?
Some nicotine's do have a peppery bite to them. It just gets more prevalent as you add more, such as your 18mg. Someone vaping the same brand of nicotine at 3mg may not notice it.

I DIY and my mix is more or less 50/50...but the more or less really is a lot more or less. :)

As long as you have 20% PG or greater, the liquid wicks pretty well--although keep it in mind if you find you're getting dry hits. A drop or two of water to the mix may help things in that case.

Some suppliers Nic base has a peppery taste. Some people like that since it reminds them of tobacco, I personally don't like it and prefer a smoother pure tasting unflavored Nic base, I get mine from Nude Nicotine. Still reminds me of a cigarette with high pg. :)
If you mix those two flavored juices equally you'll have something close to 70vg/30pg if not equally something between the two.

Thank you David Wolf :) now all I need is a mixing buddy to walk me through buying and mixing my own juice! So far I'm only spending $10 on premade juice a month ( a lot cheaper than smoking)

It's really pretty easy and if you hang around the DIY forums here, there are tons of recipes and instructions. Finding a flavor you like is actually the most difficult part--I can whip up 500 ml of liquid in about 15 minutes with my established standard recipe.

I just started DYI a couple months ago and agree the DYI E-Liquid forum is a great place to go. I use very light flavorings and now I don't like the typical too rich and sweet ejuice a you buy. Sometimes I mix some flavored juice I like with my unflavored Nic base to lighten it up. What I've found though is my main daily vape is unflavored Nic base more like a traditional cigarette, sometimes with a little natural tobacco extract or WTA added. :)

So far all the juices I have tried have a 50/50 of vg/pg.
The flavor profile I'm liking is vanilla mint, the question I have is can i mix a vanilla that is 60/40 with a mint that is 79/21?

Absolutely! But only if you want to achieve total protonic reversal, yeah, you go do that. Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light! Why are people so fuzzy on the whole good/bad thing. How many times do I have to say it, don't cross the streams!
